The salmon was very undercooked and dry in my bento box so I got a refund.Crazy Lady calls me 5 minutes later complaining and telling me not to order there anymore.Thats fine there are plenty of others places that have better food quality at a better price than you do.That crazy lady had some nerve calling me complaining.If the salmon wasn't so dry and undercooked there would of never been an issue in the first place.

Only driver was good. Food(sushi) tasted horrible. They don't know how to make sushi. Cheesecake was frozen half hour before it arrived so it arrived still partially frozen. I don't recommend this place.

WOW. How am I only the 2nd Yelp review for this DELICIOUS sushi spot? This business deserves all the love it can get. Last night, I was really craving sushi but it was gross outside and I didn't want to travel very far. I don't have great options around me so I resorted to scrolling through Grubhub to see what was available for delivery. I was looking for fresh, high-quality sushi so I sorted my search by rating. Kagetsu was the 2nd spot listed with a perfect 5-star rating, so I decided to go for it. Somewhat risky since there was only 1 Yelp review, but hey Grubhub users seemed to love it so I went for it. As always, my boyfriend and I overordered. We got the Unagi Don w/ a side salad ($15.50), Sushi Regular Entrée w/ a side salad ($14.50), and a Love Boat for 2 ($50.95). Everything EXCEEDED our expectations, especially since takeout sushi in Brooklyn is often just average at best. Even the salad, which is basically just lettuce and cucumber, tasted so refreshing with its very delicious dressing. The unagi was warm and soft, and all the raw fish melted in our mouths. Salmon was wonderfully buttery - we preferred that over the tuna. Our only regret is that we should've tried perhaps a special roll instead of the sushi entrée... we kind of went overboard with the nigiri even though they were so good. We didn't finish (of course) but we continued the meal this afternoon for brunch. Even after a night in the fridge, the leftover pieces still tasted amazing and get this: we didn't get sick and have felt great all day. We've def found our new go-to delivery spot!

Every single thing about Kagetsu Japanese Restaurant is perfect. Friendly staff and great atmosphere all year round. Every single thing that I have actually tried has been really flavorful.
