Went with my Greenpoint-based son and his fiance last night. Really good fresh sushi, good service and quite reasonably priced. No wonder it’s his favorite local Japanese restaurant.

Came here on Thursday, there time of closing was advertised as 10:30pm and I arrived at 9:30. Upon walking in we weren’t welcomed really and then when we asked to be sat for 2, the bartender stated they were only taking Togo orders—very unfriendly and dismissive. Will not return.
Very fresh sushi, which tasted great. Very sufficient for the price.

I have ordered from here a bunch and quality was always a bit of a hit or miss but this is likely the last time I will visit this restaurant.
They left a roll out and I went back to show them and expressed concern of walking back and forth with sushi in a bag in 90degree weather but they reassured me they re-made them all fresh and they didn’t. The 2 rolls I walked back with to show they had left out a roll were the same rolls. They were incredibly warm vs the fresh roll they left out but I am not sure why the restaurant or the chiefs would lie about raw fish to a customer…. Be cautions
