The food was delicious, just don't go if you have any other plans for the day because the service is very slow. The food is worth the wait.

Exquisite Uyghur cuisine which roughly translates as combo of Uzbek and Chinese. Their manty have cut beef not ground. And their kebab is actually tasty.

Service is really bad. You ask for something very small like a sauce missing in the table, it takes 15 minutes for them to bring it.

And despite I am marking the 15% tip, I got charged 20%. Just be careful.

Trash service
It like racism
If you are white, you are serving best
But if you are brown
They just ignore you

A simple, no-frills, family-run restaurant with delicious authentic Uyghur food. I ordered the aubergine salad and plov and was happy with both. The owner was really lovely and friendly. I hope to come back to try more of their dishes.

Try the fried lagman. On your visit next, go for regular lagman and samsa. They cook it very well. The last time I had such deliciously prepared dishes was back in Bishkek in 2002.

A real local place. Great for after a beach day. The food is flavorful, deliciously seasoned, and cooked with warm love. The vibes are friendly and comfortable. 10/10 all around, can’t wait to go back. We loved the lamb kabobs (both lamb and lamb ribs) and the noodle dish. Also, the compote juice is delicious and the pitcher is a right amount for 3-4 people.

I really wanted to love kashkar cafe, but maybe i visited on a wrong day. the lagman i order is underwhelming, noodle lacks elasticity and chewiness that usual handpulled noodle has, the guyru is okay but lamb is dry and flavors didn't mix well. server was very attentive and helpful, i do hope the quality of food gets better because i'd love to come back.

Zero stars
I went to this place the other day, briefly about the interior - there is none, the prices are unreasonably high - the portions of food are small, the food seems tasty but two ladles of shurpa with a bone on half a plate for 12 dollars is a bit expensive. I also liked the fraudulent scheme with the bread lipeshka, I ordered a lipeshka, they brought me half, I asked for the second half, and then it turned out that each half of the tasteless dry lipeshka costs $ 2.50. and that's just for the lipeshka that costs 2 dollars across the street, the guys charge 5 bucks, I do not recommend this place, the price is inadequate, the portions are very small, to eat your fill in this place you will have to take 3 portions. I don't know what they do with the tea, but the tea in the teapot is disgusting.

A HUNDRED STARS FOR THE FOOD!! We drove all the way from New Jersey, rain on the way, spent 20+ minutes to find parking, ordered right away after seated, waited for the food to come. AND THE FIRST BITE, SOOOOO GOOD! I don’t care what they said about the service, I don’t care how hard to find parking, the food here is absolutely worth it!! It’s like the anime Chūka Ichiban background music blasted out from the back of your head when you taste super delicious food. That was so so so worth it for us to come at the late night all the way from across the river. Definitely will come back again and again!! Dumplings were good! Chicken and lamb skewers were super good! Plov was super super good!!
