Love this place and have for years - especially going in for a grilled cheese and tomato soup on a rainy day. That said, for $14 the grilled cheese is now just melted cheese between dry toast. Not sure when they changed the menu but I miss the old one.Otherwise this place rocks. Great staff, atmosphere, and place to watch the game.

Good food in simple but pleasant surroundings. Non-alcoholic options were much appreciated.

For the space/location, it seems oddly dirty in a way that neglected bars can be. Greasy, smelly, disorienting decor, weird cramped layout, and blaring loud sports on TV. The customer service always feels forced, like the bartenders/servers just want to get a big sale out of you and need your table or spot at the bar. Starved for local watering holes, I gave it a chance. The food seemed decent for the area, so I opted for takeout twice. On the last occasion I got an order of buffalo wings and some mac and cheese. Wings were serviceable and the macaroni and cheese was fine; ultimately, though, too pricey for the quality. The next day, I heated up the leftover mac and cheese and, upon spooning the last bite into my mouth, felt something foreign. I extracted what appeared to be a piece of metal from a wire brush (used to clean dirty dishes in a kitchen) from my mouth. That’s the last thing you want to find in your food, particularly on the last bite! Never again—hope you like bits of metal in your macaroni.

The bartender here today ruined our experience. All attitude and arrogance with terrible service. Insane that he works in the service industry. What a jerk.

Best chicken sandwich I’ve had in Brooklyn by far. The bread was perfect the fries were crunchy and the atmosphere was amazing.

Freakin awesome place to watch football. They had 5 different games on. Good beer and snacks. Nice wait staff. Love the beer can wall which features a bunch of great Vermont beers, as well (native Vermonter here).

This place is awful. The service is consistently bad and the servers think they're hot shit. There are far better places to watch a game (carmines and lake street to name 2). I get it, serve craft beer and play sports, but it has no soul. I won't be back.

The beer is good (especially their IPAs) while the food is fairly run-of-the-mill bar food, and difficult to endorse when the surrounding area is such a wealth of excellent restaurants. Most importantly though, on Sundays they have one TV tuned to literally every NFL game. My understanding is they do similar things with soccer and likely other sports as well. Has the feel of a casual neighborhood sports bar, but with significantly better beer than you'd get at most of those.

Awesome place to have beers!I’m not a fan of beers but I’m a fan of K&L beers. The bartenders are also very helpful if you’re not sure which beer to choose. I’ve been here multiple times and every time was great!
