First timer and last timer on the same day. Food was ok. Large ox tail looked like a medium but the price was large for sure. Waited 10 mins for acknowledgement, while workers talked to each other and laughed. Then someone I know came in after me (empty restaurant by the way) and he was acknowledged and asked what he wanted right away. Never me again. It's just sad how workers can kill your business and hard work... Then again, you hired them.

Awful service! Abrasive, confrontational, rude in every way. The owner seems to think that her restaurant is the only Jamaican restaurant in Brooklyn, she has no customer service skills whatsoever. Food is okay, but I have had way better so I will not subject myself to any indignity from this establishment by going back there!

As a regular customer I am so disappointed, ordered stew chicken with rice&peas a small soup. The soup was fresh had no taste I had to add salt and flavor to my taste rice&peas taste like when you boil the peas add salt then the rice totally have no taste as a Jamaican restaurant. I think the owner be changing chef too often food is not the same...sorry buy this my last day purching food from there....

I went to this place several times and always a problem with service. 1st time servers was missing for over 30mins I waited heard food was good. Being that it’s a black own business I try to support, but I think today was my finally purchase. Food is good but not enough to have to beg for good service. Today was the worst service the guy wasn’t focus at ALL. Ask for stew chicken rice and peas. He got the rice, put stew on it and walked to the register as to get me out of there I interrupted his convo with another employee. Called to him several times to advised I’m not finished and I would like salad with my order. His facial reaction while putting my green salad in my plate had me disgusted, so I kindly walked to the register told him I change my mind paid for the stew chicken and left disappointed that I have to find another place to get my fried chicken and salmon dinner from. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

I've been to this place twice, and both times was made to wait for the j*** chicken. Don't get me wrong, it's good chicken, but they'll need to speed up that process. The man grilling the chicken was bringing them into the restaurant little by little. The single server was moving like a glacier. I don't know how they do during a rush. The fried chicken with the savory/sauce is good, too. The oxtail, however, needs work; too chewy.

I heard this place had great food and decided to go try it , on the walk in i was greeted with a unfriendly face the man behind the counter was looking at me like why am i here .anyway i placed my order and received dry food with no gravy i wasnt offered salad or anything with my order. I didnt enjoy my food at all and i will not be spending my money here again.

Everything on the menu is delicious! I recommend the curry chicken. I do not eat curry chicken from just anywhere, but Ken Ken got the curry chicken recipe right! I also recommend the snapper and stew peas. Wish I could give this place 10 stars
