The smoked trout was delicious but a bit salty and the mushroom hummus was delicious and pita bread is so soft and fluffy. The chocolate rugelach was dense. Beautiful atmosphere!

Whoever is managing this cafe needs help. Its one of the most expensive matcha teas in Williamsburg and not only does it come clumpy but they don’t wipe the sticky matcha off the sides of the cup…they just hand it to you like a hot mess.
There have been multiple times I’ve had to wait for 10-20 mins just standing there and no barista is present.
The management doesn’t seem to care at all about the customer experience ???

It pretty hard to say a place is 5 out 5 stars all around. But I can genuinely say this place has my heart. First time ever being there, and every time I’m in NYC I will be coming back. The ambience of the whole entire restaurant is so cool, welcoming, unique, pleasing. Our server Rich was AMAZING! We went to brunch, table of 5. We ALL have nothing but great things to say about his character, his customer service and menu knowledge. He can literally paint a picture with words about the food items. The food was great, some out the items that really stood out was the pita French toast and the hummus. When Rich said “the best hummus in Brooklyn.” He was not lying. Highly highly recommend this place AND Rich as the server.

SO GOOD! Got the lamb shank for two and honestly it could have been for four, it was absolutely huge! But I loved it. Everything was delicious and the vibes are great. Beautiful place. Ricotta was so yummy.

We were in the area and decided to try this place having heard its a bit of a standout, in that its a big beautiful space. As we walked towards the address, we realized its a hotel, and were like 'uh oh, a hotel restaurant?'. Gotta say everything was wonderful and made both me and my wife as well as our 10yo kid super happy, which is hard for a restaurant to do. Gorgeous decor both on the cafe side of the floor, and the open airy restaurant and bar side of the floor. The food was so good they had to roll us out. My hard-to-please-unless-its-pizza kid said "this place is heaven". Will need to try their other restaurant on the top of the hotel.

Extremely difficult to communicate and get a hold of someone here–I expect better service. I left a pair of sunglasses at dinner and I’ve been trying to get in touch for the past 5 days through all available channels without success. My dining experience itself was great, but this is affecting my overall impression of the restaurant.

This review is specifically for the lobby bar.. 90% of the time it is great, but today they had no iphone chargers, and the brunette girl behind the bar was putting her dirty shoes on the back bar countertop at around 4pm (gross and unsanitary!) and I had to get up multiple times in order to get her attention. Seemed disinterested in her job and was very inattentive. Food here is good, and I love the restaurant - but the experience at the lobby bar was quite frustrating today. It's a hit or miss with staff.
The employee was rude. I didn't leave any tips because there was no table service in the cafe area. Which is absolutely my right given that there is no service. I then asked the employee where I could find utensils. He didn't want to answer me even though his colleague was nice. I find it regrettable in such a beautiful place to have this type of person as staff

Atmosphere is amazing. The dining room is absolutely gorgeous! However, the food was mediocre at best. I ordered the chicken as my main course, and could not finish it. It came out lukewarm and kind of soggy. Hummus on the other hand was amazing. But for a place that definitely runs on the pricier side I would expect more.
