I really don't recommend this because it eat it the quantity is so low as compared to other cart and you can get better in same price from other places

I bought a plate of rice and the guy filled the food halfway.. I know he filled it halfway cause the guy put the food on the top lid of the container so it would hold less food then the bottom. The good is decent, very oily it was leaking out the container cause the container was upside down because how the food was put but flavoring/seasoning is there. They skimp out on portions which is whatever but annoying if u finish the plate to still be hungry cause it wasn’t filled all the way. Gyro is good.

It's cheap. But it's a 1 man show. Waited 20 minutes in the rain for 2 orders of mix over rice. Food is meh... going back to my regular guy on 4th.

Took 2 chicken over rice last night , and while eating it my sister found a small baby cockroach . Only took 2 spoons and rest we had to throw it out . I am not the type of person to go around complain and give 0 stars but this one was had to say it . They need to be more careful with deep cleaning !!!

Delicious chicken over rice.
This guy's name is Mohammed, and I think he and his sweet wife are from Bangladesh; she works in the daytime, mostly. He also has kids, lives close by, and the cart license is all his; it's his business. They speak minimal English, but super nice people. He's been on this spot forever, and apparently is also allowed to leave the cart there overnight, on the sidewalk. Since it's also his business, some times they just choose to close; be aware. But he's open 90% of the time.Standard NYC "halal cart" fare, but it's consistent in quality and quantity, and fairly priced. I probably eat there 2-6 times a month, and nearly always get chicken over rice, or in a pita (gyro). The "mix" of chicken and lamb is good too.Good quality, good price. IMO.
This halal cart has the most yummy delicious food. ?

Good and cheap food ??
Great food. I’d recommend the mixed chicken and lamb over rice to get a taste of both flavors together. Most of the time when I get it, it’s the best. One time the meat was unexpectedly hard, which confused me cause it’s usually tender. Next time I got it, it was back to normal though. I suppose that happens with food from most places though, tender most days/hard one day, so I don’t try to think much less of the workers. Support your local businesses. Great food. Haven’t seen him in a while, still the best Halal cart I’ve ever been to. Has anyone seen him around?
The lamb over rice was cold, stale and barely edible. There food quality has dipped greatly.
Great Chicken over Rice.Looks like he also had falafel, lamb and gyro. No biriyani or Samosas as advertised which was a let down for me. The guy in the cart said he will make Chicken Biriyani in Summer (I wrote this in March)Chicken Over Rice: $6 without soda (again advertisement says with soda). Although $6 is the ideal price these days.+ The portion was smaller.Falafel add on is $2 for 4 but they are pretty small in comparison.
