The best homemade kimchi and Koren comfort food. My kid is completely obsessed with their gimbal, so keep an eye on their weekend specials.

Can’t get enough of the kimchi. Will be back for more!

I love the various takeout dishes (and the kimchee of course) from this little place. Also, I wish there were a Korean sit down restaurant in Bay Ridge.

My favorite homemade kimchi right in Brooklyn. Always picking up a big jar of classic kimchi and an assortment of banchan.

Best Kimchi I've ever had. They have so much to choose from other than kimchi as well. Everything I've ever tried there has made me want to go back and get more. Love this place and love that they have a jar deposit as well so they are helping reduce waste.Overall excellent staff, great food, and well run business. What more could you ask for?

Their kimchi is very good but the owners attitude not so much. The soup is great for when you have a cold too.

Thank you! The service was friendly and attentive, though there were a few moments when it took longer than expected to get our orders. Nevertheless, the staff's knowledge of the menu and willingness to explain dishes made up for any minor delays. They also graciously accommodated our dietary preferences, ensuring we had a memorable dining experience.

Hands down the best kimchi! The shop offers a variety of banchans that are delicious. The store owners are simply the kindest people and really friendly as well.

Where is the meat? Stingy portions with very little meat in the Bimbibop.

Their kimchi is some of the best I've had in NYC, I always have some in my fridge. Their weekly menus are also fun and refreshing! Everything is worth trying!

I went for the first time recently, I got the squid bokkum with bap/rice, and a large jar of kkakdugi / pickled radish…When I tell you that when the food hit my mouth, my eyes widened and the blood probably rushed to my face. I thought I was awake before I had lunch, but I wasn’t lol.NOW I was awake, after I took a bite of that squid bokkum ? I’ve had squid bokkum before in ktown but this was nothing like what I’ve tried. It was an explosion of flavor and warmth. It was just perfect…. and I hadn’t even had the rice yet!I opened the rice, and was surprised to see a purple rice rather than white rice. When I tried it I woke up even MORE. It was some of the fluffiest, warmest, most delicious and perfectly made rice I have ever had. Once I plated the rice next to the squid bokkum, and started eating them together, I was in heaven.I had to remind myself to slow down ? Thats how I knew it was true comfort food. It feels so absolutely perfect and harmonious of a combination of flavors, textures and feelings that you can’t put it down.It put me in such a good mood! The pickled radish was also delicious to have on the side ?10/10 you won’t regret getting lunch or dinner here. I am super excited to try the next weekend special as well as more of the pickles and banchan I wish I took pictures before I devoured it lol!
