It was a muggy day in Brooklyn, we stopped in to get a lil cocktail and a bite to eat. The AC was blasting which was a great relief from outside. A great spot! The food is really good - while the presentation was just slightly sloppy for the dishes we ordered, they were punchy, fresh, full of flavor. We particularly enjoyed the soup dumplings which are much larger than regular soup dumplings - they were delicious, with huge servings of pork and broth. This place is so beautiful! We walked in without a reservation yesterday and the staff was lovely and accommodating. The drinks were great — I had the bitter lovers mocktail.
We ordered the soup dumplings which our waitress said they are known for. They were pretty good! The egg rolls were $14 for 2, so $7 an egg roll is steep, but they were massive and very well done. We also got the cold noodles (my partner loved them) and the sichuan cauliflower (amazing)....
