Excellent food, fun decor, attentive servers. It was more than we had expected as a random choice, late-evening meal on our way in Brooklyn before heading to an event. Try the Spanish style grilled octopus. It’s lovely and memorable.

The place is amazing! You feel the beach vibes everywhere, the food is the best! The calamari and Brussel sprouts are great! The cocktail options are also pretty good, I had a spicy margarita and it was super good!! The team in there is super helpful and always ready to smile.

I’ve been to the Kittery twice - once for happy hour/$1 oysters and now this time for regular dinner. I remember the first time was good but this time we ordered the crab & artichoke dip and lobster rolls, and it was not good. The chips for the dip were stale, with an odd pairing of carrots/celery for the dip. For the lobster rolls they had gotten my order wrong and gave me a Connecticut style when I asked for down east. When I tried the Connecticut style it was pretty dry and not quality. I let my server know and he got it replaced, and the down east was a bit better but for $33 it was not worth it. The prices are pretty high for what they’re offering, the only reason I added another star is the staff were nice but if you’re going here I recommend you avoid what we ordered.

Really cute, kitschy place with super-mediocre food. The bluepoint oysters were so tiny with not much flavor. Our waitress was delightful, though.

I had eaten here a few times over the past few years, but my experience last year was my last time eating here. During previous visits here, I remember the lobster roll being more generous with the meat and the meat tasting better, but during my last visit, the meat tasted like it had been frozen, and the portion of meat conspicuously stopped about 3/4 the way through the length of the bun. It just felt like we were getting shortchanged while paying full price. We also got the crab dip which I also remembered being better in the past, but was just okay this time. The service was also inattentive the last time we were there. While we were eating, it took our server a while to take our order and then to check on us after we received our food. The bartender was also making drinks for the servers to test and was flirting with the servers, which I felt wasn’t appropriate on several levels.
Skip Kittery and get to the Red Hook Lobster Pound for your seafood experience.

Food was good, the octopus was great, definitely the best dish we had. We tried a bunch of apps, the tuna, brussel sprouts, clams on half shell, crab cake and the chocolate lava cake for dessert. Would go back.

One of the last hidden gem that has raw oysters in the happy hour menu. I am always leaving this place very happy and tipsy. Shrimp and claims are also on the happy hour menu. Highly recommended. I was planning not to leave a review because I don’t want this place to be packed during happy hour. But I rather have it stay open then hidden forever. Enjoy this place if you are in the area. Happy hours are 5 to 7pm Monday through Thursday. All night Monday as well.
