Nice ramen shop in the area, 2nd location with first locate on 14 & 8th? Much more traditional and better than the branch of michelin rated ramen shop closer to dumbo that closed down. Trypical menu selection got Takoyaki and Tonkotsu. Pleasant wait staff and cozy place, nice spot to grab a bite after hanging out at brooklyn bridge piers.

In a cute but restaurant-light neighborhood, where most local options are brunch-heavy or bakeries, Kogane is a gem. Small spot, adorned by wood walls and benches, super close to subway, with great food and service. Seaweed salad & Spicy Miso Ramen were both great and staff was attentive. Menu has a ton of options (from ramen to kid-friendly favorites like fries & wings), including many beers & sakes. High chairs available for the little ones. Priced for enjoyment...

We stumbled upon Kogane in Brooklyn Heights a few years ago and their delicious ramen has made us repeat customers. Service is always friendly and expedient and the ramen is mind-blowing. If you’re ever in the area and craving a warm ramen on a cold day to lift your mood, make it a point to stop by Kogane.
