Skip this one. Reserved a few days before but apparently it’s cancelled without any notification. The reservation is still in Resy and they even sent a reminder text 2 hours before, only to find out when we got there that reservation is cancelled for a private event.

I accepted their follow up message and reached out to the email they provided and guess what—no response. So all that tells me is dropping the ball is where they excel. My review still stands and I’m no longer interested in service recovery. I won’t be back at this restaurant nor will I recommend.
I’m sad to report that I will no longer be dining and supporting this establishment after they did me and siblings dirty last night. I called Saturday afternoon, around 5pm (6/21) to see if I could do a late reservation at 10:00pm. The host (whose name I should have written down) told me the last seating would be 10:30 and they could put down for 4 people. However, their system for some reason wouldn’t let them book past 8:45pm. She ended up booking me for 8:45 but assured me that because she was the host that it will be fine and took my name and number. So imagine my surprise when me and my siblings show up, not only does no one know what I’m talking about, but they still have me in the system for 8:45. I didn’t receive a call or text from anyone and there were no seats available. I completely lost my appetite and left and honestly, I’m disappointed with the entire experience.

I tried the oxtail pizza since everyone recommends it was actually good. The prices are higher now but the quality music and overall experience are still good. If you are going just expect to spend more. Hopefully they add more deals too!

Kokomo has truly become one of my favorite dining experiences. I’ve visited at least five or six times, and the food has been consistently exceptional. As someone who genuinely loves spice, I can confidently say they strike the perfect balance every time.bold, flavorful, and expertly seasoned without overpowering the dish.
What truly sets Kokomo apart, beyond the cuisine, is their commitment to hospitality. I experienced one minor issue with a waiter during one visit, and the owner addressed the situation immediately and professionally. That level of attentiveness and accountability speaks volumes about the standards they uphold.
From the quality of the food to the care put into the guest experience, Kokomo delivers excellence. It’s a restaurant I return to time and time again, and one I highly recommend.

We came here to celebrate my good friend’s birthday and it was a pretty disappointing dinner from start to finish. First off this restaurant is not very accommodating to those with allergies. The crazy thing is one of the appetizers is displayed as gluten free and we had a guest with a gluten allergy so we ordered it only for it come out breaded. We asked the waiter if this is gluten free and he said no and we were like why would you display it as GF on your menu and he was very dismissive. The only thing she was able to eat were the plantains. Another friend of mine had a nut allergy and a lot of the food is made with nut oils which is disappointing to hear. Also we waited almost 2 hours to get our food we watched two tables get seated and order their food and drinks before us and come out before us. I understand we were a party of 11 but that is completely unacceptable. Also the waiter could use some service training. He would come up to our table, take 2 peoples orders and then walk away. The drinks took forever as well and the worst part is the busers would come up to our table with food that we didn’t order and would ask us is this for us and it’s like no don’t they tell you what table to deliver the food to? I ordered the oxtails and I’ve had better honestly it was nothing special. We also didn’t get some of the food we had ordered. They tried to compensate with free shots and they did take some stuff off the bill but overall pretty disappointing experience and I’m very skeptical to recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion.

The vibe the service everything was perfect upon entry. Came here as a party of 10 for my friends bday dinner this was my first time here and I had this place bookmarked for a while years to be exact lol…. Now on to food since we were a large party we had a prefixed menu option which made the most sense and was worth it in my opinion! We had the infused wings, crab gyoza, and the shrimp for appetizers; the salad with the shrimp was everybody’s fave I wasn’t a fan of the wings and the gyoza was overpowered by the curry that you didn’t taste crab however they were still decent. For entrees we had oxtails, salmon and the, vegetarian pasta everyone enjoyed their food I liked the tamarind sauce that came with the salmon it elevated the coconut rice for me. I do feel like the food could’ve been slightly better but it wasn’t bad! The French75’s were made to perfection as well! I want to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the rooftop.

Went here straight for nightlife vibes. The staff seem pretty easy going. The bottle service was good. The Finger/Bar Food was good. Drinks were good. It was soca/carribean/aftobeats. The DJs were really great. The atmosphere and decor are nice and the crowd was lively! I would go back!

Had no idea, when there’s an event they kind of shut down the restaurant so we were told. Ok kool, my partner and I talked we went to the event. We paid went in enjoyed the music everything was fine at first until it was time to get DRINKSSSSS! Lawd, the bartender was something else. He kept getting annoyed because he couldn’t hear us while I was trying to order our drinks. So after all the “Huhs and What’s” he hands me drinks then the tablet without letting me know what to do and walks off. Okkkkk, so I tap “Pay” and nothing is happening. He comes back takes the tablet from me and gets upset. “Why u tapping bottoms” “All u had to do was add ur card info” sucking his teeth and pissed to the highest. “Ummm sir, Do I work here? U handed me a tablet and walked off to take another order” he tells me “It’s self explanatory” Walks over to the head manager of the Bar I guess and still going off, waving his arms. I was livid and it honestly killed my vibe. It sucks and it’s distasteful because I told many ppl to check out this spot and now I never want to even go back. Moral of the story “Treat People Kind”
