Hidden gem! I love this place ! Was recommended by a foodie friend. I live on Staten Island but if I want authentic, affordable and delicious Hong Kong food, I have to come here !!!
This is a very low-key Hong Kong Cafe, though the interior is definitely aged. The food however is great, prices are super affordable, can grab some classic dishes that really hit the spot. Try out the bitter melon with beef over rice, that definitely soothes the soul and gives you major Chinese street cred. On a more serious note, it's a very simple spot to just grab a bite at though definitely not a date spot.
Have been coming here for over 10 years, and the food is as good as ever.It is extremely affordable and is a great spot for a quick bite, lunch, or dinner. If you're not looking to break the bank, I would suggest going there for their sandwiches!The main reason for 4 stars is due to the interior and the lack of renovations.
