Stereotypical Hong Kong style place with reasonable prices in today’s economy. Place is decent sized but packs quickly during lunch and dinner service. We ordered:
1) chicken gizzard- decent but lacking flavor and chewy. I’ve had better
2) fried chicken skin- not bad oily
3) Kowloon fried rice- very good and kind of spicy
4) stir string beans- decent
5) peanut butter toast with condense milk- okay

Good Hong Kong style Cabinets food. Plenty of seating even on a Saturday night. I was a little sad they were out of flat rice noodles (chow Fun) so we got to stir fried tofu and vegetable with vermicelli rice noodle (mai fun). I got excellent, especially when paired with bitter melon with black bean sauce. Waiters were excellent, kept checking on us with hot tea. I had to run down the back to buy a beer cuz they don't have a license. Food paired nicely with a Modelo Especial.
I was really expecting my usual Hong Kong authentic cafe (茶餐廳/Cha Chang Tang) but it was a bit disappointing.

The afternoon tea set was reasonably priced with a drink - red bean ice drink (it’s included in one of the set and you can’t change it to other drinks). I ordered the chicken leg w fries and red bean ice. The chicken leg was huge but the meat quality was not what I was looking for. I would rather choose a smaller leg with nice dark meat than...
