My husband is a meat lover so he is really into German and Polish cuisine. We had a friends’ reunion at Krolewskie Jadle and it's really a perfect place for gathering. The decor is authentic, classy & wide-spaced and the ambiance is lively & cozy. The options on the menu were various and we had their King’s Potato Pancakes, Tripe Soup, Stuffed Cabbage and Koryto For 4 People to share with a group of 6 adults & 1 kid. The portion was good enough with reasonable price. We were going to try their desserts, but we were extremely full. The food was decent, flavorful and cooked properly. Our favorites were the potato pancake, which was soft and the stuff cabbage, which was juicy. The staff was very friendly and attentive but just a little slow with our request about water & additional orders.

I've never really had polish food before so I will say this place left some pretty high standards. I came to meet with a friend and boy was I surprised. I honestly don't even remember what I got, but I know that everything on the platter was super tasty. Special shout-out to the pierogi and potato pancake. I was blown away by how tasty my plate was. The service was great and the decor is adventurous. Overall super amazing, I'm happy I tried this place!

Absolutely delicious. Cheese and potato pierogi boiled is something I’d highly recommend!

Took my 2 sons out for dinner yesterday. Food is made with care and cooked fresh. I had the Hungarian pancake filled with veggies, beef strogonoff and -superb.The Borcht was either Ukrainian or Polish style -I ordered both one had delicious homemade dumplings. For beer lovers they have Polish beers in very tall glasses. You can sit outside or inside. The waitress was great-I left her a good tip which she deserved. Seems to me like a mom and pop place where you get your money's worth and everything is authentic. 2 blocks from the Nassau Ave "g" train stop. Fun and worthwhile

Went here with my family after attending an afternoon family wake at Evergreen Funeral Home. Claudia held a table for us and was very accommodating. Our table was set and waiting for us even though we were a couple of minutes delayed. The food was excellent and our waitress was kind and attentive. She explained the items on menu that were unfamiliar... and everyone couldn't have been more pleased with the assorted pierogies, kielbasa, assorted chicken dishes and delicious salads... will definitely go again when I visit Greenpoint.

I had the Stuffed Cabbage in Tomato Sauce and also tried the Grass Fed Beef Goulash. I thought the cabbage was the better dish of the two. I would suggest asking for more of the tomato sauce to go along with it. It was very tender, but the sausage in the meat mixture was a little salty. I think the extra tomato sauce would help. The Hungarian Goulash is not the best I’ve had (I’m Hungarian), but decent. I think the sauce and flavor were both excellent, but the meat was a little tough. It definitely needs to cook longer and more slowly to tenderize. Excellent service and a good spot all around.

100% authentic Polish cultural experience! Its exactly as if you walked into a typical restaurant in an out-of-the-way town in Poland. Its not "modern" or "sophisticated," but its excellent! If you're looking to practice your Polish-speaking language skills, want to read a menu in Polish, or just want to eat like they do in Poland, then THIS is your best chance to do that in Brooklyn (and possibly even all of NYC)!

Great Polish food, in an awesome high medieval environment full of art, armor and weapons.

The food was bland and flavorless. Borscht ... potato pancakes... so mediocre. I know how Polish food can be, as I am Slavic, but this is not authentic Polish food. Will not be back. Sorry

I dined with Krolewskie Jadlo twice. First time I was dining in and everything was really good. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was tasty. But last week we were nearby and decided to order delivery from this place through Door Dash since we already know that this place is good. Well, that time it wasn't. First of all we received our order for 3 people with no utensils or napkins. We didn't order it to our home, so we couldn't get our utensils. When we called and asked about it we were told that we actually had to request utensils when we placed an order. Really? I don't order delivery very often but I don't think that this is the rule. Second, I asked for extra sour cream for my potato pancakes and I didn't even get 1st pack of sour cream, which I'm sure is a must for potato pancakes. And third, we ordered beef tartar and it arrived as a complete mess. The egg yolk was all over the plate mixed with ground beef. I understand that it might be drivers mistake, but I think that dish like Tartar has to be packed very secure or it's not meant to be delivered, because it has to look representative. So my advise to everybody: if you love Tartar, never order it through delivery. So we couldn't eat the food we ordered and we had to wait until we got home to get utensils. By that time food was soggy and cold. Very disappointed.

There is no place better in Brooklyn (and perhaps all of NYC) for 100% authentic Polish food and drinks, where average, local folks go for dinner when they want Polish food. If you've traveled abroad you know that the rules of service in a restaurant are very different than what Americans typically receive here, so be ready for an authentic Polish cultural experience! You may wait a little longer (though I actually got my food very quickly because I came well after the dinner rush). Don't expect your waitress to check back every 20 minutes, because they don't believe in bothering or interrupting the customers while they eat. I had to wave and call her over, as expected, but she was looking over at me to check from a polite distance not ignoring me at all, which I appreciated! Please be kind! It may be different from other restaurants, but I love that! If you have any criticism, save it until you go back again and discuss it with them on your next visit - they are nice and will try to accommodate you. The cooks and waitresses are Polish (and I LOVE the little nuance!) If you're looking for a great place to read a menu in Polish, practice speaking Polish and want to enjoy authentic Polish food - this is the perfect place! (But they do have an English version of the menu available, and will help with any questions.) I look forward to going back when I'm there again.

I wish I could leave a decent review. With the exception of the potato pancakes, the rest of the food was mediocre. One person in my party said the kielbasa sandwich was good .

Good place for meat lovers, but not a lot of veg options.

Wasn't sure how much food I would get for the price, but it certainly didn't disappoint. Venison Walnut meatballs were really tasty and the gravy was excellent.
