I got California rolls and Steamed Pork Dumplings the sushi tasted old and stale I tried to finish at least a couple because of the money spent but I could not get myself to finish it. When I cracked the dumplings open only a tiny bit the stench was like sewer water and was so overwhelming. I took a bite to check if maybe it was just the smell and it tasted like they have been swimming in toilet water for 2 hours the pork tasted like it was rotten the food is so bad that I had to laugh at the situation instead of getting mad at this awful food! I never leave reviews on anything, good or bad but this was awful!

this restaurant was amazing. it was a small and cozy spot with the most amazing food. the food is pricey but the for the quality it was worth it.. but now? i’m not sure what’s changed. my favorite was the grilled chicken bowl and i just ordered one after a few months because for a while the restaurant was under construction and although the restaurant was open for take out, the place smelled of chemicals and construction- so i gave it time. i ordered the grilled chicken bowl after a few months and it is NOT what it used to be. I read in one of the reviews that there’s a new cook so that could be it but wow, there’s been a downgrade in their quality of food and service.

I'd come here with my boyfriend all the time. We'd always order the miso ramen or the grilled chicken bowl. Since this year though- we noticed a change in the food. The quality and ingredients completely changed. We also dont see the lady in the front anymore? The food isn't as good at all anymore, the chef doesn't seem to know how to cook at all. I'm not sure what happened here- if it's new owners or closing down? I'm very sad because this was our fave spot and sadly the food just isn't good anymore.

I just thought about how I haven't written a real review, I've been eating Kuma's Spicy Miso Ramen faithfully for 5 years and I'll continue to do so. It's always been flavorful, filling, warming and best price to me hands down! I hope to learn the secret to how they make this, seriously.

Sushi was terrible. Wish I took pictures at the time because the cuts of the salmon and avocado were criminally uneven. Delivery took near 60 minutes for 4 rolls and being located 4 blocks away. Delivery driver hounded for tips and blatantly lied that we didn’t tip him, despite a $6.50 tip on the receipt. Also menu options looked lackluster, no special rolls, no sushi bar apps. Entire experience was trash. Has ruined my appetite for sushi for a while. Do not order from this place if you want good quality sushi, hell even decent sushi. Even the salmon poke bowl looked terrible, salmon had terrible color on it, looked and tasted bad. I also ordered the 2 roll sushi combo + soda and didn’t get the soda nor the refund for that. Asking for a tip on top of that is wild and dishonest on the restaurants side to not call ahead and inform us of the no soda.
The fact this place has 4.0 from 88 reviews is insane. It’s either bots or they pay their friends to leave food reviews. It’s so bad even if my friend owned this spot, I wouldn’t leave a good review unless he paid for my meal and then some.

I ordered the Salmon Lovers entree which comes with salmon sashimi slices and all the fish was FROZEN! I immediately tried calling the restaurant multiple times but got no answer 😕 This place is horrible.

Not good. Who puts raw red onion in ramen? Broth was too thick. Portions are on the smaller side. I hade to throw most of it away the onion was so overwhelming.

Pretty up there in terms of worst, most uncomfortable dining experience I’ve ever had. Flavors were non-existent - bland beyond words. No music on - dead silence to the point of every slurp of noodles I took echoing through the whole place. Freezing cold in February. Appetizer chicken was microwaved, indignantly plopped in front of me AND came out 10 minutes after the entree.I never ever write food reviews, and especially not negative ones, but this was so awful that I felt compelled to warn others. Sorry Kuma.
Ate a bowl of spicy ramen there and was pleasantly surprised how good the spicy broth was. Will be returning!

The food is good. I order through UberEats. But this place loses two star, because it seems like they are not being careful when cracking eggs because I ate some shells. Luckily it wasn’t a a lot of shells. I thought I was eating sesame seeds but I wasn’t.

Amazingly delicious ? food! If you love Asian food, then you urgently need to try their dishes, they are all masterpieces! I order from them all the time (super fast delivery). I love their poke bowls, soups and noodles. Haven't tried the sushi yet, but I'm definitely going to! Great staff, and thank you for your excellent customer service.
