We happened upon L'Angolo di Palermo over the summer when visiting the NYC area and in search of authentic Sicilian food. These guys are the real deal, and their store is full of great imported and homemade products. I have had 90 percent horrible experiences with Italian pastry shops and yet I keep trying, tempted by the look of the treats. This time, the taste was equally fabulous. Warm freshly baked donut, I am in heaven. I almost passed by thinking it was only a deli. So happy to have stumbled upon you!

A smile, a hello, an acknowledgment is too much to ask from this staff since theyโve opened and through today. Decided to go in and try again. Guy looks at me as I walk in and just looks down. The charming sign on the door about the last deli customer at 6:30 (โwith no exceptions!!!โ) should have turned me away. I will be sure not to inconvenience them with my presence again, I felt how bothered they were to have to do something.
