Got 2 sandwiches here recently and was pretty disappointed. Both were wrapped in foil, then cut in half, and placed in their own paper bags. The problem was that both were cut THROUGH the foil. This yielded small bits of foil on both halves of each sandwich that we needed to pick out.One of the sandwiches was supposed to have fresh mozzarella, but instead had cold deli sliced. The other was supposed to have Russian dressing, but instead had a ton of mayonnaise. Both of these were sandwiches off their menu, so there was no possibility of misinterpreting or forgetting my order. The fact that they can't make their menu sandwiches correctly, and are so careless to get foil pieces in their food, make me not want to go back at all.

My husband recently visited this location. He purchased a few appetizers ( broccoli Rabe, pasta with mixed veggies, and a sautéed pork chop). He enjoyed the pork chop with onions. I enjoyed the pasta and veggies. I also recommend treating yourself to one of the desserts ( I recommend the chocolate cake). I highly recommend trying them out.

Bought some of their deli specials very fresh and tasty they had a onion breaded Sicilian style baked Pork chop so delicious. Some of their Pasta sides are really fantastically good.

I love the chocolate croissant from here. There is a hint of orange that just makes it delightful. The cookies are also delicious!

You guys, THESE are cannolis!!! If you like Villabate's crunchy shell cannolis on 18th ave but can't get there, this is it. You can put these in the fridge and the shell will not get soggy. I'm so tired of soft cannolis!! I came for over a dozen on thanksgiving and they piped them fresh right in front of me. Love, love, love. But even sitting in the fridge case I've bought them and they've been crunchy. Let's keep this place in business! That Brooklyn Bites guy on Instagram missed a prime spot for some of the best ones we have in Brooklyn. This is not a paid announcement lol

I ordered a tray of cookies last week. Wow they were a big hit. The cookies were delicious, very fresh and the tray looked beautiful. I highly recommend L'angolo di Palermo. I am Sicilian and my uncle owned a bakery so I know the real thing!

This is not your average Italian deli, this family takes homemade food to a different level! Main ingredient in everything they make is "LOVE."They are very proud of the products they serve and it really shows. The selection of sandwiches, hot dishes and everything else is outstanding.Super clean, cozy Brooklyn deli ?

Bought cookies here today at my first visit and was told a 1/2 lb was 6 pieces. Found 5 in the bag when I got home and decided to weigh the bag. Sure enough, under a 1/2 lb. I was charged for the 1/2 pound, though - as well as a 'cash discount credit card fee' of 3.5% on my order which was not advertised. I had cash with me and would have paid in cash if I knew I was being charged for the card use.The store that was here before - Il Milano - pulled stuff like this on me and I spent 100's of dollars there (you can see my review) ... and now with this experience at L'Angolo Di Palermo I know enough not to come back.

Real authentic Sicilian food, bread, desserts. I had the Sicilian cabbage which had tremendous flavor and the eggplant caponata was loaded with tasty ingredients.Of course I could not leave without some cookies. "S" cookies with sesame and the ones with jelly in the middle, dipped in chocolate and colored sprinkles. Mmmm, everything was so good.
