This is the kind of place you go to when you want a glass of something interesting, not just the usual suspects. The wine list is clearly curated with care—lots of small producers and unique varietals you don't see everywhere. Our server knew the list inside and out and helped us pick a bottle that paired beautifully with our meal without being pretentious about it. They even offered us a taste first. The food is clearly designed with the wine in mind; the flavors complement each other perfectly. A wonderful spot for oenophiles and casual drinkers alike.

Do not order a half tray, the middle pieces are always raw dough. You are better off ordering corners and the edges.
All that money for raw dough. No thanks
Great food as usual

Been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. The pizza is always fantastic as well as every dish I have ever had in the restaurant area & since I have been going there for decades that’s a lot of dishes. Was there last night and had the Shrimp Oreganato for the first time- to die for. Absolutely loved it and my husband had the Rigatoni Bolognese & my sister the Grilled Chicken with Penne Vodka Sauce which were amazing as well. The portions are fantastic so you will never leave here hungry. Shame on so many other restaurants for being so cheap with their portions. Our sever Roberto was the absolute best. Very friendly, accommodating, & on top of whenever we needed anything. All around great experience. Love this place.

Everything did not taste fresh. Garlic Bread was sour squished together and Philadelphia Cheese Steak had almost no cheese. It feels like zero effort was put into making this. Does not taste good. Garlic bread tastes sour snd Philadelphia cheese tastes bitter, burned and smells kind of funky

L&B Spumoni Gardens is a true New York institution and a must-visit spot in Brooklyn. From the moment you arrive, you feel that old-school, authentic neighborhood vibe that makes the place so special.
The square Sicilian pizza is legendary. The thick, airy crust is perfectly baked, the tomato sauce is rich and slightly sweet, and the cheese sits beautifully underneath the sauce — a unique and delicious twist that makes it stand out from any other slice in NYC. Every bite is comforting and full of flavor.
And of course, you can’t leave without trying their famous spumoni. Creamy, colorful, and refreshing, it’s the perfect way to end your meal. It adds that nostalgic Italian-American touch that defines the place.
The outdoor seating area creates a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. It’s lively, casual, and feels like a true Brooklyn gathering spot. Despite being popular, the service remains efficient and well organized.
If you want authentic, classic New York pizza with history and personality, L&B Spumoni Gardens is non-negotiable. Iconic, flavorful, and unforgettable. Highly recommended

Jack was a fantastic host. Really made us feel welcome and his hospitality was the best we’ve had since being in New York. What a lovely place to visit. The pizza was delicious, would recommend the grandma pizza!

Just a really good Italian restaurant. Its been a part of the community forever. Best pizza ever. Fantastic dinner food and must have ice cream deserts. Do yourself a favor and go there once. You'll end up back often.

Great space, and even in the garden space — it was toasty warm on a frigid day. Great service and vibe. Plenty of people and clearly super popular.
Ok - to the point: the pizza was really good! The 6 of us got a 12 slice rectangular pie, and it was crispy where it was supposed to be and the sauce was fresh and just so good. Recommend.

My family and I went here for the second and last time. Service is poor and each time the food was sub-par. Watery penne a la vodka and multiple dishes came with ingredients specifically requested to be omitted. When I pointed this out, the person saying he was the “owner”, came to our table, stood between us and another table and BERATED us that we were dissatisfied with the food saying the cook makes it a certain way. He yelled stating we were “interrupting” him”. This is how you treat your patrons? Really?
Obviously, this buffoon thinks he can speak to his customers in a threatening tone since he has the corner restaurant. One thing he doesn’t know, you never berate customers. You need to change your attitude big man. Nothing is forever Mr. “Owner”. Good riddens.

Nice pizza
VERY DISAPPOINTED! 1. We were seated in the very poorly insulated area that had been an outside patio - it was FREEZING (even with the heaters on the ceiling). 2. Service was HORRIBLE. Very slow (it was not crowded), wrong orders, waitstaff inattentive, sloppy. Never received item(s) we requested - asked several times. 3. Food was just "okay" - nothing to rave about. (We had dinners, not pizza.)
