We are visiting NYC from out of state so we've never visited the original location, but we loved this new one! Service was great and super friendly. The square sicilian pizza and the alfredo pasta were sooo good! The spumoni ice cream was delicious also.

The service, food and atmosphere at this new spot was disappointing at best. Aside from serving premade lukewarm warm pizza and, somehow flavorless Ceasar salad with an attitude—the mngmt did nothing about our poor service. In that type of biz and that turnover, you comp something immediately or ask how you can make it right. They said , sorry we’re new and understaffed. They were “new” 3 months ago. That doesn’t float anymore. Go elsewhere, Bklyn has so much more to offer. .

Disappointed with this location, especially since the other one is great.
The baked clams were solid, but the calamari was bland—and one had a hair in it.
Service was lacking: no check-ins, no drink refills, and a long wait for entrees. We kept receiving items we didn’t order, while some of ours never showed up.
After two hours, we were ready to leave. Our server pitched desserts to other tables but never checked on us. The entrees were good, but not enough to make up for everything else. Won’t be back.

I have been going to the original L&B since I was a kid and I’m SO happy that they opened a location in Dumbo so I don’t have to make a journey out of getting my favorite pizza. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the kind staff who treated me like an old friend and even gave me a cup of spumoni while I waited for my pie. The pizza at this location is the exact same as the original location, and it’s my favorite pizza in NYC by far!

This new spot in Dumbo and second location of the pizza institution is incredible! Everything about it is delicious, warm, and welcoming, with a big space that’s great for groups. Shoutout to the kindest, coolest server Rodney! Their Sicilian pizza is insane. Thick and doughy, unlike any crust I’ve had before, almost half-baked in the middle like a great cookie. Their sauce is sweet and comforting and their baked clams were delicious. Of course, you’ve gotta get the spumoni ice cream for dessert - its marzipan flavor and crunch is unlike any spumoni I’ve had. Can’t wait to come back to try their regular pizza, a salad, and more of that spumoni.
