I enjoyed the fast service and delicious lox bagel at La Bagel Delight at Dumbo. The bagel was pretty expensive though.

I thought it was me over thinking their rudeness and my unpleasant experiences. But after reading multiple negative reviews, I can agree with others. Stay far away and spend your money at place that willing to give good customers service. Beside there's million other places selling the same things but with a smile. I don't mind pay a little more for eat a establishments; I consider location and atmosphere when places are pricey. I didnt initially want to make it about race. However, based on other reviews by all walks of life. Tells me you either one you don't care about the people or two you don't care about the business.

Amazing food. Filled to the brim. Tasty. Yeah nice. Sadly the staff didn't speak much English and when I tried to ask for directions they really did not know in which direction I should walk to catch a glimpse of the statue of liberty. Damn! But 5/5 would eat again.

We (group of 4) walked in and 3 (mexican looking) men were standing behind the counter. At that moment (2/10 - 7:35am) there was only one guest inside. They saw us looking at the board, trying to pick what to get (only 30 secs passed) and they started rushing us, so I went to the counter and kindly asking for what he does recommend: “everything is good”. Okay… then what is you favourite: “I like everything”. We were standing facing each other for a minute and he said get out the line then to serve others.Every one of us experienced extreme rudeness from these 3 guys.Very unpleasant start of the day coming here as a tourist and after showing respect and kindness towards them, this is what we got back. Disappointment.No complaint about the food.

Ordered egg n cheese bagel w/ salt-pepper-ketchup. The egg was sloppy scrambled and falling all over the bagel. Too much salt to the point where you can taste the grains on the bagel. Cheap quality cheese.Observed the smoked salmon open in the fridge with a fork poking into the salmon. Not the proper way to the store smoked salmon. You can see the discoloration and the green spots made me not want to eat but was too late since I ordered already. Will not return.

Easy 5 star. Your perfect everyday bagel spot. It's always a super quick and easy ordering process. They have you in and out in no time but are kind at the same time which you rarely get both in New York. Inside is always clean and in order. Of course, the bagels themselves are obviously great. Clearly use high quality ingredients. Just an overall great spot in a great area.
Bagels here are so good I have to make myself not come here every day as I live dangerously close. I find beauty in simplicity and this fast-paced, Stone cold typical Brooklyn corner shop scream authenticity without the need for flashy looks or crazy combinations. Not too many places will get you hooked on merely a simple bagel only with plain cream cheese, but these guys did it. Cant recommend enough

Inhospitable and outright rude. ATM locked our card in place and we asked an employee for help and they immediately said “I don’t know about that” instead of asking for the manager. We told him to get someone to help so he then went and got the manager. The manager/supervisor came over and shrugged his shoulders and basically said it’s not his problem. Didn’t even attempt to help or offer possible solutions. I ended up moving the machine myself and reaching behind their fridge and unplugging everything until the machine released the card. We of course refused to eat their food or give them our money after being treated this way. We even drove our family from Italy here to try the bagels. Ridiculous and lazy.

We stumbled upon this deli on accident and I'm glad we did. We had some great BEC bagels. The staff was helpful and friendly and quick. It's a small deli with no seating to its best for take away but they pack up the sandwiches so they stay warm. I would swing by again if I'm in the neighborhood.
