Every bite at La Cantine was incredible. Good wine and even better desserts. Their dessert chef is a genius.

You will never be disappointed by anything here, guaranteed.

It’s a bit hard to get a spot, especially on the weekends, but one usually opens up within like 15 minutes. When the weather’s nice there’s fab outdoor seating.

We are their neighbor restaurant Abracadabra Magic Diner and we love and support this wonderful place, everything is made with lots of love and good ingredients and creativity! Amazing details! Each bites pops in your mouth, it is a gem in the neighborhood, absolutely recommended!

I came here with my friends on a Thursday evening and it was so incredible!!! The pasta was perfect but most importantly, I fell in love with the warm salad with aged cheese. I’ve never had anything like it before - texture was amazing. Dessert was even better - passion fruit tiramisu ! Service was divine and the servers were very knowledgeable on the cute wine pairings. Need to book this again ❤️

I normally don't write reviews but I just love this place so much. I've gone MANY times for brunch and lunch (amazing sandwiches) and always a great vibe. It can get busy during weekend brunch times, but I've never struggled to snag a table. Went with some friends last night for dinner and it was a wonderful experience - everything on was delicious, the service was really friendly (and the DESSERTS to die for!) An excellent wine selection as well. Will definitely be back, and again, and again.

Best food, best service, best energy. Hands down one of the most inventive restaurants in NYC. The team is incredibly passionate and hardworking, and it shows. Favorites include the tapioca cacio e pepe bites, the revolving lasagna, the green goddess salad, and of course all the desserts. Vive La Cantine!

Come Thursday through Sunday for an amazing dinner meal. The menu changes frequently. Highly recommend the chicken and matcha tiramisu. A must visit in Bushwick!

Always such a wonderful experience! The most amazing and sweetest servers make it so that I always want to come back. Incredible food, my partner and I shared everything and left feeling so full and nourished. Great wine, beautiful ambiance, couldn’t ask for more! A real neighborhood gem!

happy place

My favorite for EVERYTHING. Best espresso, most delicious sandwiches and the cutest sweets. Dinner is creative and comforting shareable plates, amazing beer, wine and mocktails and incredible desserts. I think the prices are reasonable because everything is clearly very high quality. Just love it there so much!

Michael O, terrible service. Would’ve liked this place if it wasn’t for the bad service. This place has been the topic of discussion for the last month or so between my girlfriend and I, we’ve been very eager to make the trip out and try La Cantine. The food was solid but the experience and service was lacking, HARD. Basically forced out of our seats before we even finished dinner let alone had the opportunity to order dessert (which we were most excited for). Michael forced us out mid dinner because he needed the table by 8:15 (Did not see anyone waiting and there were several open tables). He popped up out of nowhere mid bite to tell us we needed to leave and dropped off the check, truly disappointing. On top of the already horrendous experience they had the audacity to call me and complain about the tip!!! Yes I left a very small tip because the service was quite depressing. Tips are earned… stop acting so entitled La Cantine! Safe to say I will never be going back here & I will recommend friends to not waste money at this establishment. Please spend your money wisely.
