This is one of the hidden gems of Bushwick. Has the BEST frozen margaritas and all the tacos are 10/10. Sebastian is also one of the best bartenders I’ve met! Only thing they’re missing are frozen mezcalitas!

I have frequented this charming neighborhood spot both in person and via delivery. Had a slight mixup in my pickup order and when I called to resolve, the owner (i presume) quickly and veryyy kindly fixed the issue and asked me to keep and try something i probably would not have ordered. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! I will always come back and support. The food always hits! Thank you!!

Do I dare leave a negative review? My family gets La Lupe at least 1x a month. We live on the block. Most of the time it’s super delicious and the people are friendly. Yesterday was a totally different story. I came in during lunch to takeout some tacos and the redheaded bartender was so inattentive. Then the tacos were just so not right. I got chicken like I always do and they were flavorless. It tasted like chunks of plain boiled chicken. Then their (usually amazing!) hot sauces I was given had totally fermented and tasted like sour vodka.
I gotta admit, I’m sad to see how the owners have responded to reviews. This is probably the end of La Lupe for me. There’s a taco truck on the corner with just as good tacos and no bullying.
