If you want to have a painful experience with this mean merchandise please go ahead and order food in here. Food is maybe average but cashiers attitude and owners personal attack to each customers review is hilarious. Maybe instead of attacking customers for their opinion you should focus on getting better. No-one wants free stuff or talk down about your business. Simply people complain and criticize you for your business on a application allows to comment about your place.

The cashier was very rude and had a harsh attitude. She gave short, dismissive answers and seemed very unwelcoming. The steak tacos were mediocre at best—there are much better options at more reasonable prices.
When I ordered a steak quesadilla, I specifically said, “I want a steak quesadilla, no cilantro at.” However, they just put steak between two tortillas without cheese or anything else. When we asked about it, the cashier rudely responded, “You only said steak, so that’s what you got.”
On top of that, the quesadilla portions are ridiculously small—literally the size of a taco tortilla—and the price is way too high. I paid $20 for just two tiny quesadillas. Unbelievable!
Unbelievably bad service, terrible attitude, and disappointing food. Definitely not worth it!

The food is delicious—I’ve been there twice, and both times I had tacos, which were amazing. However, on one occasion, I was served beef tacos instead of fish tacos. But I was so tipsy from a margarita that I only realized it two days later.

Delicious enchiladas not the usual, they were more like a lasagna. Mezcal margaritas and mojito were really good, we also ordered the birria, juice and flavorful, THE BURGER was wooooóow! I hope stays secret so it doesn't change, I will order it every time I go there which, it will be often.

The ‘steak’ tacos don’t taste like steak at all—they’re more like water-boiled meat. At $4.50 each, they’re overpriced for the quality. The flavor was disappointing, the prices high, and the staff wasn’t particularly friendly. The interior look nice, though.

Ordered online for pick up, swung by, waited just a few mins and it was ready! The guy that greeted us was super friendly, and the place is really cute inside. We drove home (about 6 blocks away) and got right into it. Unfortunately though the tinga and the grilled shrimp tacos were completely funked up. They just had one tortilla instead of the standard two. I thought was weird especially for spicy stewed chicken like tinga or shrimp tacos that have crema on top. But hey, if the taco is sturdy, I really dont care. Sadly they were totally soaked and broken into pieces already! Just from leaving the restaurant and driving a couple mins down the street! We had to eat the tacos with forks and spoons. The shrimp also was definitely not "grilled." Poached perhaps, but not grilled. Which was a bummer.
Also the meats had no flavor outside of the cilantro topping. We added salt and their homemade sauces and that helped. those are sauces great!
I think the weirdest thing of all though was the "tostada." Its just a taco with lettuce and cheese and tomato. As in - the tortilla is not toasted or fried or crunchy in anyway. just a raw tortilla with a ton of wet toppings, so once again totally soaked, broken, and had to eat with spoons. Weird right?
We got the birria quesadilla which was just fine. Pretty floppy and wet but birria is juicy by nature so that ok! Probably will stick to the taco trucks we know, love, and trust moving forward. Just sucks because we were so excited to try La Lupe and find maybe a new go-to spot since?
The search continues!

The food was average—nothing special. What stood out more was their odd and inconvenient system. There are no waiters, no real service, and you’re expected to serve your own water. You pay upfront, but if you want to keep your tab open, they require both your card and an ID as a deposit. Who does that? You also have to pick up your own food, yet they still expect a tip—what exactly are we tipping for? The overall experience was confusing and underwhelming.

The most Bushwick taco joint ever. Boozy drinks worth it. If you're going in expecting flowery attitude you're probably in the wrong neighborhood. No bullshit, good food and drink.
