Food was very good, BUT service left much to be desired. The waiter who originally came to our table to get our order (but we weren't quite ready) was NOT the waiter who ended up taking our order. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the second waiter to show up. I ordered a glass of wine at the same time as I placed my order but had to wait another 10 minutes for the wine to be served. No complaints about the food—it was served hot, nicely presented and tasty. However, after they had boxed up our leftovers, no one asked about dessert or if we wanted the check. We had to flag down a waiter to get the check. He brought the check, and I told him that I was going to pay by Apple Pay. He acknowledged that was ok. No one came back to the table with the device to receive payment by Apple Pay. We sat for another 10 minutes, and then my family decided to leave. I waited for another 5-10 minutes and then had to flag down a different waiter to let them know that I was ready to pay. They took led me to the cash register where the Apple Pay device was located. When I told the person there that I had been waiting to pay, he said the person I originally spoke with didn't speak English. Not true. He did, because he spoke to us in English.

A girlfriend and I visited La Nonna Williamsburg in Brooklyn for an early dinner on July 9th. We were initially impressed by the atmosphere, which felt cozy, and the crab cakes we ordered as appetizers were beautifully plated and tasted amazing. The drinks were decent, nothing standout, but enjoyable.
For our entrees, I ordered the shrimp scampi and she chose the salmone. Both dishes looked equally appealing when they arrived, and we were eager to dig in. Unfortunately, the mood quickly shifted. As I was about to take my first bite, I noticed a disturbed look on my friend's face. I followed her gaze and saw a water bug crawl out from behind the curtain. Within seconds, another appeared near my side. Horrified, we immediately stood up and decided to leave.
We asked for the check, and to our shock, the restaurant still presented the full bill with no apology, explanation, or discount even though we hadn’t touched our entrees. Needless to say, we refused to pay the full bill and demanded a discount, which I am appalled that we even had to request. Cleanliness is non-negotiable when dining out, and this experience completely ruined what could have been a lovely evening. Very disappointing.

The food was delicious but the wait staff was slow and we felt ignored. The food was very slow to come out even though the restaurant wasn't full.
Had lunch here, and happened to mention to the waitress that it was my birthday weekend. They brought me the sweetest birthday dessert! They also had a great happy hour special on wines. The pasta dish was delicious (I got the lobster ravioli). The staff made this such a great experience, I will definitely be back!
