Let me be honest, it is family owned,and they were very sweet. The tres leches cake looked good, except for the peaches. I did not say anything, but owner took the one I chose to the back, put fresh peaches. She tried suggesting another cake. I think I should have taken it. The cake was okay. I don’t mind it not being too sweet. But it definitely did not taste freshly made. I did buy a bouquet of flowers they sold and I can say they were lovely.

I ordered my daughter's 5th birthday cake here; and, I was so pleased with the experience. Another bakery had quoted me double the cost of La Nueva Union. I needed a cake to feed 15 people with a Disney Frozen theme; and, they really came through. A cake topper was included, as well (which wasn't the case at the other, pricier bakery mentioned).
It was a vanilla cake with a chocolate frosting filling. I could have eaten that frosting by the bowl, let me tell you. It was light and whipped, almost like a light, fluffy pudding-like consistency. I am SO glad I stopped in; and, they will absolutely be my go-to moving forward!

i was craving something sweet and i wasn’t sure where to purchase from- then i came across this place. don’t be too quick to judge a book by its cover. from the outside, you probably wouldn’t be too inclined to step in (mainly because it looks like a market) but once you get in, you’ll realize it’s a hidden gem. went in looking for a cake or cookie of some sort and left with THE BEST TRES LECHES! the coffee tres leches is to die for. it isn’t too sweet and the coffee flavor isn’t too powerful giving it the perfect balance of both making it absolutely PERFECT/DELICIOUS. the cake topped with almonds was also a hit (this one is more on the sweeter side.) very happy with my choices and im glad to know there’s a spot in the area where im guaranteed to get some good pastries

This bakery was the worst experience I ever encountered in my life !!! I ordered a cake with anticipation 3 weeks prior for my daughter’s birthday customized fast forward to the day of the party I get a call to pick up my cake because it’s ready around 2pm I get there there’s no cake ready no lettering on the cake the two people there in the front are just walking back and fourth looking at each other for 15 mins have no idea what’s going on ! Finally they print the pic for the cake the guy adds the letters n throws the cake in the box with out showing me how it looks because he knew the horrible job he did ! I get home time to cut the cake my daughter’s name is spelled wrong, the stitch print is crooked ! I was charged 90 dollars for a poorly done job is not right I call the bakery all the guy said was he couldn’t do anything and that any where I go I have to wait who says that so why call me and tell me it’s ready for pick up when it’s not ! At that point what was I supposed to do leave my daughter with out a cake ! Never ordering a cake from here ever again if you want a cake that looks last min poorly done this is your place ! I wish I can give it 0 stars but unfortunately I can’t but I will never come back or order from here ! Lesson learned ps my daughters name is Samalia not Amalia ??
