Best Italian restaurant in NY, period. Have been going there for over 40 years. Will not disappoint. Everything is perfect from the homemade pasta, meats, cheese, and the people !

Old School Italian. Large portions, great service, excellent food! The benchmark for what great Italian food should be. An iconic restaurant that everyone should experience!

We came for dinner, for the first time, everything was delicious. Fried calamari, other appetizers was good. Main dish, one for 4 people, was very good-> meat, chicken, mushrooms, roasted papers. Want to visit this place again.

I moved out of Brooklyn quite a few years ago, and I always try to go to La Palina whenever I come back. Today, three family members, and I dined there. Everything was as I remembered it. The food, the service and the atmosphere were impeccable. Carlos was a fantastic server. Can’t wait to come back!

Visited the place for the first time in my 10 years living in the Bensonhurst/Gravesend area and it was certainly worth it! The ravioli and chicken francese with spinach were delicious!

Highly recommended to have really good and home style Italian cuisine!

Google doesn’t give the proper times of them being open.. they close earlier than 9 on Sundays.. which sucks for working people that need restaurants in their areas to stay open for to eat.. I got there at 8:15 hoping to get a yummy meal but the kitchen was already closed for the night (45 mins earlier than what Google says)

I have been going there for almost 50 years and it is by far my favorite place. I make the trip from New Jersey whenever I can. The best baked clams anywhere. I do Xmas Eve takeout every year.Albert, Peter, Charlie, Anthony, and Larry are the best.
