La Petite Joie is truly a hidden gem! While searching for a place to eat nearby, I came across this charming French restaurant and was immediately intrigued by their brunch tower. I arrived just after 4:30, unfortunately past the brunch cut-off, and was disappointed to have missed it. However, Carmen, the manager, overheard and kindly went above and beyond by making an exception. That thoughtful gesture set the tone for the entire experience.
The brunch tower itself was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and full of variety, with every single item tasting incredible. I also ordered the cheese board, which was wonderfully balanced; the cheeses and fruits paired perfectly. The combination of exceptional hospitality, authentic flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere made my visit unforgettable. I will absolutely return whenever I’m in the area and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience.

This place will forever be a brunch spot staple for me and my fiancé. Been here more than 5 times and we always have a good time. Outdoor dining is available but its very limited. Portions are large.

I’ve walked by this place 100x and last week we decided to give it a try. I love French food and lived in France for a short period, but I’m not claiming to be an expert on French cuisine. First impression was, this place is cute and the menu looks tasty and there was no wait to be seated on a Saturday night, which is odd in Williamsburg. The service is TERRIBLE. Terrible to the point I’m writing this review. Whether they were high or just rude, who knows. The food. I can’t see why the reviews are good. It’s super salted for no reason and nothing outstanding. Sadly, for the price, service and food I will not be returning. It’s disappointing.

The last time I visited, my friend left her phone at the restaurant and realized that hours later. We called them to check and they kindly let us know they have it and to come pick it up, we offered tip for thank you and the staff was so sweet he said no need! We still did to show our appreciation, def will be coming back ❤️
