Taq-o bout the biggest breakfast burrito I ever had, big as a baby, soft as a bunny, thick as a- well, you get my point. I personally also love a shrimp in my burrito, but if that’s a journey you decide to take, I’d recommend it after 3pm and with at least a 6 hour resting period after its breakfast brethren.
Ingredients were delicious and fresh. My 3 rating is on product delivery. First, too damn big. I feel the US continues to suffer the chipotle effect when it comes to stuffing and rolling burritos… less is more! So much filling stuffed in can only go outward, which happens here after 2-3 bites on one end and the bottom blows out. Second is too wet… the pico adds too much liquid adding to easily slide stuffing out of the bottom, and just all over.

They messed up my order ordered tacos asked teice to make sure they got the order and guess what they forgot my tacos got home opened my order to find there were no tacos place wasnt that busy at the time there is no reason for them not to get my order right except for incompetence
Live around the corner and love this spot so much. We just had it catered for our engagement party for ~40 people and it was an absolute hit. Frank/Marty hooked us up so well, couldn't have asked for better food for it. So grateful to have this in our community. Thanks y'all!

My husband and I worked up the nerve to take our two children-under-two out for dinner here last night for our oldest child's second birthday. Without getting too long-winded, the food was delicious and served quickly, and the staff were true champions and absolutely the kindest, most delightful humans.
Parents know that it's really stressful trying to enjoy yourself as an adult in public with tiny kids. The staff helped us situate two high chairs, brought us food quickly, served it in an expert way where no kid could reach anything they weren't supposed to, and even happily offered to have us dock our giant stroller next to the register. At the end of the meal, my husband and I were making one last sweep to clean up stray table and floor bits from the kids, and my husband accidentally spilled his entire frozen margarita on the floor (awesome). Again, the whole staff was outstandingly chill and graceful about it. From the two (I assume) owner/managers to the ladies and gentlemen front and back of house, every single person was relaxed and smiling, making us feel at ease.
We will likely be picking up from here for a while until we get the courage to venture out again, but seriously, we'll be back again and again to La Taq to support good food and great people. Thanks y'all! We appreciate you!

If you love carnitas please give this place a visit. The single best carnitas tacos I’ve ever had. It was amazing. The carnitas had so much flavor and it was perfectly hot when I ate it too. I don’t think they make carnitas anywhere like this in brooklyn. Definitely coming back. Very good portions too. My father got a carnitas and al pastor and said he loved the al pastor too. Two tacos are very filling. If you are very hungry get three but two is just right as well. They have an awesome salsa station too so it makes it super easy after you get your tacos you can put chipotle or salsa verde and limes. Definitely coming back as soon as I’m back in the area again.

Ordered two carne asada and one al pastor taco. They were both tasty and larger than I expected. I ordered a jamaica agua fresca and they gave me an alcoholic slushy. It was delicious and I’m not mad at all.

Excellent food and good prices. Portions are really huge (at least my partner and I realized that one bowl gets us three meals)
