This place is amazing! The server was super attentive and the restaurant is also very gorgeous and spacious. We ordered the ahi tuna tower and fish toco, and both are very yummy and fresh. There are lots of seafood options on the menu. It is a little pricey but we understand that there is also nothing like this one in the entire Coney Island. The rooftop bar also has a beautiful view. My friend and I had a specular time here and will definitely come back more often during the summer.

Second time coming here. First time food and atmosphere were great but the service was less than par. Coming 4 months later thought it could have only gotten better, but I was extremely wrong. I waited 18 mins before I even got water and had to practically tackle the waitress just to order a drink. I ordered a Frose and a Charcuterie board (which the waitress had no clue what it was) to start. 15 minutes later she returned to say they only had mango and another flavor frozen drink and that what frose was after I explained it wasn't she said I guess we don't have it then. A few minutes later she returned to tell me they also did not have the stuff to make a Charcuterie board. After ordering other apps she eventually brought them out but of course with no plates. The rest of lunch continued in this matter and ill just say this will be the last time I come here.

The manager Willy went above and beyond to make our dining experience very enjoyable. It is great to be so close to the ocean and having a view of the Parachute jump in such a spacious venue is very pleasant while dining.

Practically had the place to ourselves for lunch on a sunny Tuesday afternoon on the roof top bar. Staff is very pleasant and my smashed cheese burger / brioche bun / fries and toppings as good as it can get. Right now lunch is grab and go. Moving into the neighborhood so I'll have my lunch pow wows here. Told that when there is a concert at the Ford Amphitheater next door the place is packed, otherwise quiet in the off season which is ok w me. Lot was free that day but wish that the restaurant validated or had a discount on off season/ nights. A real treasure and the Russo's of Garguillos who now run the place seem to be doing a good job!

Service (both waiters and bar) very unexperienced, but trying hard. Food was tasty and served in timely manner. Interesting "Coney Island" feel ambience. Regretfully we were not able to eat on rooftop because of the concert next to restaurant and surcharge of $20pp (!) if you eat there. It is place to stop for lunch or early dinner if you are in Coney Island boarwalk

Discovered this restaurant while walking on the boardwalk. Very spacious. Love the restoration. Ordered the fish tacos which were bland. Needs seasonings to make it taste like authentic tacos. The sliders were delicious though. Will try this place again to see how other food items taste.

They’re lucky they’re getting 2 stars due to their location and the ambience.Besides that….this place was absolutely terrible. We paid for the rooftop open bar and unlimited apps for 40 people. In return we received zero service. We had to wait at the bar every single time where the bartender had the biggest attitude towards anyone and everyone he served. For apps, they literally left wings and doughy calamari on the side for you to serve yourselves. I had to run around all night to even find someone to get me plates and utensils. Only one who helped was the bouncer. They had no problem charging us $5000 and tipping themselves $1000 while providing ZERO service. The only saving grace was the DJ…which they ruined because the DJ tells us that he would’ve played music for an extra hour for $200. We told the DJ we would cover it. The place “manager” comes over and tells us that an extra hour would be an additional $4000. Let’s just say that I’m not coming back here ever again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

La Tombola is a huge restaurant in a gorgeous, two story structure that's been on the Coney Island Boardwalk for close to a 100 years. The building has had many incarnations -from restaurant to candy factory to roller rink - and now it's a superb Italian eatery. There are varied happy hour specials during the week, DJs on Fridays, and a lovely rooftop lounge that overlooks the ocean. The menu has something for everyone, from fresh clams to fried calamari, from chicken parm sliders to hot wings, brick oven pizzas, and the best spaghetti and meatballs this Italian girl has ever had. Except for my sister's of course! The staff is young, personable and hard working ! Ask for Delyn and Kaylin, my personal favorites. A special thank you to Felipe Muniz, who turned me on to this fantastic spot! Buon appetito!

La Tombola is nothing out of the ordinary, but I have to add a star for the fantastic rooftop that allows a view of the seafront, which is perfect if you're sipping a cool drink on a hot day. I was there for food, however. The burger which comes with fries felt a little underwhelming because the buns weren't quite as soft as I like them. And, it was a bit dry. However, the meat was cooked to be medium, just as was ordered. The fish tacos were a bit bland, but the condiments certainly helped.

Thank you! My friend and I had dinner there on Sept. 13th (the night of the Foo Fighters show) and we had the BEST evening. The bar staff were fantastic, your front door security staff were incredibly patient with all the patrons and COVID-19 protocols, the hosts were fab and our waiters were so, so helpful. At the end of the night we were even treated to a ricotta cheesecake which was delicious! I had a really good experience so THANK YOU!

I will say the place is beautiful The service was off a little server was not attentive to the table wait a few time for the individual to come back drinks took a while as well The food could be upgraded a little the wings were don't done to our liking had to be sent back for better preparation were done well but seasoning was not I was present for your soft opening and the food was perfect so not sure what happen from then to now Just need a few adjustments your establishment has great potential and great location Over all i will continue to recommend your restaurant and continue to come have a good time there now and in the future.
