I’m Guyanese, but I absolutely adore food and culture. I love the language, the food, and after every restaurant I visit, I’m always treated poorly
when I inquire about the cuisine. So, when I read great reviews about this restaurant, I was a bit hesitant to go in. I was afraid i might insult me because I don’t speak the language. But to my surprise, she greeted me warmly and asked, “Hello, baby! How can I help you?” behind her it’s a portrait of her loving husband. That has passed away.
I was instantly captivated and didn’t even taste the food. The kindness she showed me made me realize that this place is a haven where food is made with love. Even though I don’t speak the language,
she always greets me with warmth and affection, calling me “hello, baby.” I visit this restaurant on my saddest days. I crave comfort in a delicious home cooked meal and love also, is delicious delicious delicious
This beautiful lady is incredibly kind and welcoming. She always greets me with a warm “hello, baby” and expresses her love and passion for her deceased husband through every dish they make The taste of food shows me that true love does exist and God is faithful in everything and every culture and food ❤️

This is one of my go to Haitian restaurants. They always have everything that’s on their menu. The food is consistently good. Im so happy that the owner kept the restaurant open despite her husband passing during covid. Wish they would get on uber eats/apps.
This place fell off :/ I ordered bunan peze and passion fri. The Bunan was very thick and not fried well, like the person forgot to flatten it and double fry them. The poison fri tasted good but it was a bit burned. Diri kole was good and had bon gout.
Best Haitian restaurant in New York City
I ordered boullette from there. Food is on point. Good Haitian food
