I come to this place often and always recommend it to my friends. The food is consistently delicious — especially the fish, which is absolutely amazing. We recently celebrated my mom’s birthday here, and she said it tasted just like back home. The portions are big and very filling, perfect for sharing. And the avocado salad? Hands down the best salad in all of Brooklyn. Highly recommend!

My favorite place in NYC. I come here every time I visit. So far tried plov, lagman, Tashkent salad, Uzbegim salad, shurpa, and tea with lemon. Everything was great. I also enjoyed the Uzbek music

Really really wonderful Uzbek food! It’s my wife and I’s favorite place and we go every chance we get. You’re not going to find better Plov in NYC. The poor reviews here are really undeserved, I wouldn’t pay attention to them. Go for yourself and give it a try

We ordered carp fish and told them to make it in thin layers, but they brought a large and thick fish with large slices, we also ordered bread and there was a black spot on it, it was definitely expired bread, as I understood, we told the girl and explained it, but she had zero reaction to it and just said something like I told them. Service zero.

Did not like neithef the food nor the customer service. The place charges 9% for just regular debit or credit cards. Insane.
I would 100 % recommend this restaurant. Family owed .i was served by AKHMEDOVA her service was great would be going back again soon.

Yesterday I took home fish, the inside of the fish was blackened, and they cooked it very salty. Next time, I decided not to buy it from Uzbegim Cafe at all. My recommendation is not to buy it to take home, maybe it will be fried well for someone who wants to sit down and eat it. But I tell my acquaintances that the fish shop is not what it used to be.
