Looked forward to trying this place for a while before I got the chance. Wanted to love it, obviously didn't.
It's a cool space but the pizza was mediocre and pricy. Some of the pies were very crisp but without much of a chew and the clam pie was super soggy and greasy.
The service was unfriendly at best and the Spindle cab/merlot the the bartender recommended was possibly the worst glass of wine I've ever had. I like nature wine and I like funk but my god, it was like a warm, sour fart. Completely devoid of pleasure.

La La’s “clam pie” is the best pizza I have ever had!! My friend, Tracy, and I had Irene, our bartender/server, add bacon to the pie! It was ridiculously delicious!! Irene was also amazing!! In addition to be an awesome server she clued me in on fun thing to do in Brooklyn!! Added bonus seating upstairs and downstairs and they played 70’s & 80’s R & B!! I was in heaven!!

I love the roof at Grimm (La La’s) so much that I threw my birthday there last year. Great food, attentive staff, fabulous atmosphere, what more could I ask for? Highly, highly recommended!!
