We ordered a small portion of pickled fish for several people, but were still treated sarcastically and told that this was enough and why did you care so much about your money? The meal cost over 60 dollars. We have been eating at 8 Avenue for a long time and this is the first time we have to pay extra for rice. Is the boss not making any money?
I’m Chinese from the Sichuan region. Spoiled with many good food growing up, I find many popular Chinese restaurants in NYC a scam. But this is my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood (or even my favorite Chinese in the whole city in terms of price and quality ratio). We come here twice or three times a week. Every dish is fresh, authentic and affordable. Our favorite dishes are: horn pepper beef, string beans, mapo tofu and fatty beef in sour soup. No tips needed. Cashier...
The portion is way out of my expectations as I had food in Manhattan and other states, It is bigger than i thought. I thought it is not going to be this much, so i ordered 3 items.
It is really a good price for all of these together...
