Went on a Tuesday morning at 7:55am before they opened and was second in line. Ordered a bunch of things to try everything. The highlight for me was the ham and cheese croissant which is more on the flaky, airy side and the Nutella and almond croissant but the raspberry croissant, pistachio, pain au chocolat and the tahini chocolate chip cookie were also memorable.

L'Appartement 4F in Brooklyn Heights is a delightful French bakery that won't disappoint. They offer fantastic bread and baguettes, perfect for those seeking a taste of authentic French baking. But don't stop there – their warm, chewy chocolate chip cookies are absolute must-tries. The bakery itself is charming and cute, adding to the overall experience.

I consider myself a connoisseur of croissants. The raspberry almond croissant here was absolutely phenomenal and took me back to Paris. It is flaky, soft, and buttery. It is clear they don’t burn croissants here—they take great care in their craft. I took home two boxes of cereal, but have not tried it yet. I moved to the neighborhood recently, and will definitely make this my main treat-my-self spot. Can’t wait to take out of town visitors here, too. Only issue was I felt rushed at the counter when I asked a few simple questions.

This place has such great croissants and coffee it’s just a shame that all of their staff are insanely rude. As a small business owner myself, I feel the owners should know this about their staff and consider cleaning house to match the ambiance with the delicious items they offer. Current staff is not a good fit for this quaint shop.

I visited this spot during a weekday morning and the line moved very quickly. The service was really prompt and I ordered the everything croissant (A++) and the tahini chocolate chip cookie (also delicious)!

Have come here multiple times for croissants and the evening pop up dinners. Great croissants (raspberry and Nutella are our favorites!) and the service and unique food during the evening dinners (for the opening weekend and Valentines Day) were great. Great spot to bring guests then walk Brooklyn Heights.

You're here for the croissants and you won't be disappointed. Their plain croissants are nice and buttery. They also have a rose and pistachio croissant that gives you nice texture and flavor. My surprise hit here was their raspberry croissant. It's essentially an almond croissant with dabs of a raspberry filling scattered throughout the pastry. Now one might think the entire filling should be raspberry filled, but what they did here is genius. The raspberry adds a hint of tartness (probably a bit of lemon juice to bring out the raspberry taste) to your bite, but the next bite will be that of the almond filling. It is familiar and sweet. So, instead of having a completely tart pastry, you have contrasting flavors. Genius.I have a talkative, 20 month child who completely devoured the croissant and who's got a few words to say about it. Unfortunately, for you and I, we won't understand a single thing said.

I kid you not some of the best croissants and baking in the world. Sometimes I daydream about the framboise croissant LOL in all seriousness, I love this place! They have great coffee and matcha too, and it’s a cute place to go and sit with a friend. I recommend coming early to have the best selection. :) they also have savory options which is great as my husband is a diabetic. :)
