They delivered the food and the dough from the manti was very dried out and they gave us the wrong kebabs. We ordered lamb and got beef instead and the beef kebabs were too chewy and as if they were not fresh and just put the microwave. will not order from here again! did not even suggest to give us a partial refund for the food we ordered.

Uzbek Plov is life changing.
Easily one of the most satisfying halal dishes I’ve had in Brooklyn. The rice was long-grain and perfectly separated, each kernel thoroughly infused with the rendered lamb fat and spices rather than being layered. The carrots were cut thick, slow-cooked until sweet and tender, balancing the richness of the dish exactly as palov should.
The meat itself was the highlight: large, generous chunks, braised until fork-tender, with deep flavor that clearly came from proper layering of meat, onions, and spices. The seasoning made it smell amazing and took the natural flavor of the lamb and rice to a new level. The small (ostrich?) eggs completed everything perfectly.
Overall, Palov was cooked with precision from the base up, allowing the rice to absorb the broth gradually. This is proper Uzbek palov. I would come back just for this alone.

Toshkent is a cozy and welcoming spot to enjoy authentic Uzbek food. The plov was excellent - flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also really liked the mors drink and the fresh salads. The portion of lagman was a bit small, so I’d recommend trying something else next time, but the samsa was delicious (we even took one to go). The place has a vintage vibe that makes it feel special. Service was polite and fast. Overall, a pleasant place for a hearty and tasty meal.

Went to this place several times. The food and service are great. The bread and meat super fresh and delicious. The only thing that seemed weird on October 25th, 2025 it’s a service fee of 15% from your total and they ask about tip on top as well. Never notice this fee before as I visited a lot of places around the city. I wish they at least mentioned it before you start order. When I asked a waiter to explain what’s this service fee means the answer was its regular fee that every restaurant has.

Amazing experience. We ordered the plov for 2 people and it tasted very fresh and delicious. I loved how they have everything to eat on the side, it really puts the experience together. Would come back again.

The food is always fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. I have to highlight the liver shashlik — it’s incredibly juicy, tender, and simply the most delicious liver kebab you can find in the entire city. Every visit feels like a real treat, and I can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The lagman was nearly tasteless and oddly had a strange tobacco aftertaste — as non-smokers, it genuinely felt like the chef might have been smoking while cooking.
Service was frustrating. The waiter was inattentive, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic things like sugar, small spoons, vinegar, etc.
To make things worse, they added an 8% charge to the bill without notifying us in advance, which felt sneaky. Then we were charged $11 for a basic lepeshka, even though the menu listed it at just $4.
Conveniently, they “couldn’t accept cards” either, so we had to pay via Zelle.
Poor service, questionable pricing, and food that left us disappointed.
Not only the food but also the waiters are incredible especially the tall guy is both attentive and communicative
