Nice decor and comfortable seating. Servers were very attentive. A bit pricey for Asian/Thai food that was good, but not exceptional. Enjoyed my drinks, like the Brooklyn, but have had better Pad Thai at other restaurants

I took my friend there for her birthday and it was everything plus more to us. From the concierge to the wait staff and the bartenders everything was on point and professionalism at its best. The food was delishous the drink was tasty you can taste the liquor . It was bussing in my head. Mike was our waiter and he was very kind and attentive he understand the assignment very well. I will go back there again 10/10 for me

Really loved our 1st experience at Le Chai. Coming into the restaurant the decor and ambiance was beautiful. The hostess accommodated us immediately even when we added a extra person. Our appetizers to the drinks was amazing, we did compliment the bartender Errol as the drinks were nice and strong. I had the Lychee Bloom and substituted with Patron instead of vodka. Our waiter O'neal gave great suggestions for food options, all the food came out hot and plentiful. The only part that i did not like about our experience: when we 1st came, there was no one there and even when we left still somewhat empty. We felt like they was rushing us out and even mentioned a 90 minute time limit when that was never discussed with us. Overall we had a good time, good music and that little setback i would still see myself coming back to Le Chai

Great atmosphere and food. Check out the happy hour menu., not a large selection but good even the price. 4 to 7 PM. Not a cheap place.
Service could be better but we were a large crowd (UFT Caribbean Commitee). Waitress needed to work as a team.
The music was great; Oldies reggae.

The first time I experienced Le Chai, it was for an event to introduce the new menu. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the genuine smiles & courteous disposition of the staff. I came alone & did not feel out of place. I want to shout out a gentlemen by the name of Kadeem that made me feel especially welcome. I shared with him my dietary restrictions & in no time he made sure I had something to make my tummy happy! The food did not disappoint & I came back today just to personally thank him. I will be back again soon. The drunken noodles w/ shrimp was 3 thumbs up & the bartenders Kirk & Errol are phenomenal. Nuff Respect

My daughter enjoyed her birthday dinner and experience. However I did not really. My salmon dish wasn't good at all. The dish salmon was over cooked and extremely dry. The asparagus was also over cooked. Way too soft. That is wasn't worth the ticket price, absolutely not. The Thai fried rice was good and the cakes. I can't see myself going back, unfortunately.

This is a hidden jem. From the time you walk in the door youbare welcomed and greeted by the hostess and staff. Drink orders and appetizers were promptly served then came our main entrees. Everything was served hot and the portions were satisfying. We tried wings Thai salad and combo appetizer plates. We had the king fish drunken noodles and Singapore noodles along with sweet and sour chicken and they were all very tasty and we were pleased and satisfied with all our various dishes. After dinner we chatted with the manager who wanted to talk about our experience which we explained was great. The place has great staff and nice atmosphere and im sure most people will enjoy

Le Chai has a lovely aesthetic — cozy lighting, stylish decor, and an inviting atmosphere. However, the chairs could use some attention; they’re noticeably worn and sit so low that you end up feeling awkwardly beneath the table height, which takes away from the otherwise charming setup.

Our server, O’Neil, took our drink and appetizer order promptly, but unfortunately, the drinks arrived long after we had finished the appetizers and were ready for dinner. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay until we mentioned how long it had taken, at which point he simply said the bar was busy.

We ordered the Combination Platter for our appetizer, which included spring rolls, calamari, wings, and shrimp. The spring rolls were the clear standout — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done — followed by the calamari, wings, and shrimp. Everything was good, but the spring rolls are the only thing I’d eagerly reorder.

For dinner, we had the filet mignon, shrimp egg fried rice, and beef and broccoli. Every dish was delicious — perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The food at Le Chai is unquestionably the highlight — superior to the service, which unfortunately leaves much to be desired.

I shared my disappointment with Assistant Manager Lateefah, who was gracious, attentive, and professional. She took the time to listen to our feedback and kindly removed the 15% gratuity from our bill, which felt fair given the lack of service experience.

Overall, Le Chai serves excellent food but needs to bring its service up to the same standard. I would return for the food alone — but I’d love to come back one day and experience service that matches the quality of what’s on the plate. I gladly pay for good food, but I enthusiastically pay for great service. If only they could deliver both.
