This place is pure ambiance. Everything else is mediocre at best. The food, the service (or lack thereof).
In the land of restaurants, I recommend stopping here for a quick cup of tea and that's about it.

Their food tastes terrible, the seating area is very cramped, and that little tattooed guy is extremely rude.

This is a very charming looking space. It is not a minimalist space. Lots of decor. Out back there is a very soothing indoor garden. Service is friendly and engaging. We opted for omelettes with caramelized onions & cheese. They were very delicious. Most importantly, they know how to do home fries here. They had lots of vegetables mixed in + a nice griddle top taste. I'm reluctant to say this but I judge their coffee as a bit mediocre. Not terrible, just very ordinary.
This place has a chilled vibe, fun decor, attentive service & darn fine eggs.

There seemed to be a host stand but there was no host, we stepped inside and a waitress signaled us to the back telling us to go there (it was very loud and we could barely hear her) we stumbled waiting to be sat, until we understood it’s just a sit wherever type of place. That was a little confusing, we had about 4 different waiters/waitresses, they were all nice though it was confusing who to get when we wanted to get the check.
The food was okay, for the price it’s good but definitely lacking in flavor (we ordered a plain Belgian waffle and the eggs Benedict with home fries).
The aesthetics of the place is really nice.

I have been coming here for years and we celebrated a milestone birthday with my family (13 of us) for brunch on Sunday. Dominick took excellent care of us, was super attentive, food all came out together and it was delicious and the day was perfect! Le Petit cafe is charming and truly never disappoints and is so beautiful inside and the owners and staff are wonderful.

Beautiful Café but the food and service were absolutely not up to standard. A dry piece of bread with a bit of tuna and a tomato for $15 is an absolute joke. The server seemed annoyed because we didn’t know right away what we wanted to order. There are so many lovely cafés in the area — that’s where we’ll be going next time.
