Do not have your private event here- you will look bad and feel embarrassed. The owner does not provide enough waiters. He served way less food than what you ordered. He had his waiters take back the appetizers (pies, baked goods) while people were up and dancing so he can save/serve them at a different day and time and he will try to charge you for more people than the actual amount that came. He overcharged for alcohol and watered down drinks. He also hardly provided soft drinks and water which was part of the menu. He is verrry stingy and sneaky.. Avoid at all costs.

This place is so legit. I’m Lebanese and I’ve struggled to find a Lebanese place in New York that feels authentic and serves the comfort food I crave. This place is it. The kibbeh was incredibly fresh and crispy. The portions are generous. The staff is the very best of Lebanese hospitality. Go with a group because you’ll want to order a lot of different dishes

Tried this place after hearing positive recommendations from a few random people. Although the atmosphere feels a bit dated, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the food was really good. We had low expectations going into this experience, based on a lot of the other neighborhood restaurants, but we will definitely be back.

We had high hopes, but unfortunately, the visit fell short in many ways. First, the atmosphere was not family-friendly — the restaurant had hookahs, which we were told beforehand they didn’t have, making it unsuitable for children.

The food was below average, the service was poor, and the prices were shockingly high. We were a group of six and ordered only appetizers and one mixed grill platter, yet the bill came out to $580.

After paying, I called the restaurant to inquire, and the waiter explained that we were charged based on a set menu — $90 per person. However, when I broke down the actual items on the table and compared them to the prices listed on their website, the total was closer to $200. When I pointed this out, I was told that the website reflects “old prices.”

This experience felt misleading and left a very bad impression. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve both their transparency and service.

My coworker & I arrived shortly after a very large (as in- almost filling the entire restaurant!) party was seated, so service was a bit slow (for understandable reasons), but were, nevertheless, courteous and helpful.

We ordered the Kibbeh Balls and Saaj Cheese Rolls for appetizers. Aside from one single Kibbeh ball that was cool on the inside, both appetizers were delicious. The kebabs we ordered as entrees were very flavorful and thoroughly-enjoyable!

I also really enjoyed the Mint Tea, served piping-hot in a metal pot (as tea should be!). The mint was refreshing, without overwhelming the taste of the tea.

As to how "authentic" the food is-- I have no idea, as Lebanese cuisine is not exactly my area of expertise. But I can say everything we were served tasted fresh & flavorful, and that's good enough for me!

The food was good, the salad was missing ingredients, ordered a lemonade they forgot about it, the manager was not on top of things, he included a mandatory tip..

Edit: I just made it one star because the owner’s replay was not honest, it was just me and my wife, I don’t think anybody would call that a large party! Scammer
