Very good food if you're into Mediterranean/Asian fusion. We were seated in the back by the kitchen and the periodic deafening blender roar really soured the experience.

service was lovely but a woefully disappointing brunch. we came in a lager party about 11 people — and were given a prefix menu. there was not nearly enough food. we were sharing appetizer portions among the table — quite literally one egg between four people. and they tried to fill us up with bread in the beginning as if we wouldn’t notice being undernourished.

Bright friendly environment. Easy choices for vegan & gluten free. Food was good, trout rillletes, especially. Service seemed a little confused.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan clearly marked

Food was well cooked but flavor combo personally didn't speak to my taste buds. Service needs improvement, it was quite hard to flag down a waiter. Yu choy was well cooked although black sesame and vinaigrette clashed IMO. A simple garlic mussel soup could have been so good but it just lacked flavor. Arroz meloso (specials menu) was a tad mild and a tad too oily.

It was very busy on Valentine’s Day. We had a bad experience following many good experiences. However, the owner personally reached out which I greatly appreciate.

Exercise caution when booking because they have an outdoor heated patio. It’s very cold and not enjoyable. Inside or the bar is great. The two stars refers to outside.

Came to this place because it had good reviews, unfortunately was let down. Not only was the service insanely slow, but the menu was extremely difficult to understand and food mediocre. On top of all of that they told me that the price written on the menu for the duck was wrong and charged me an extra $10 on the bill. Plus an additional 3% credit card charge that was not mentioned anywhere. Feel like I got scammed

I'm not usually the one to complain about restaurants. Most upscale restaurants in this part of Brooklyn will leave you pretty satisfied. This place is over-the-top pretentious.

For an entree we got the fish. It was just a basic fish in olive oil with rosemary or something except that it wasn't deboned. We were advised to split it a few ways and I had like two mediocre bites. I actually left the meal hungry despite spending around $100 for my SO and I.

Also, calling this place an eating and drinking house like it's some modest English pub is hilarious.

Are you serious ? Your cinnamon rolls and bread are a joke. Who puts that much sugar in the dough and glaze honestly and for Olive bread lots of salt and oil ????????? This is not made right I am very disappointed and it’s over priced. Spent 40$USD for a couple of bread buns . This is the US, you need to get it right. This is beyond a masquerade. You can do better by nyc standards. Your food is a nightmare. Shame on you.

Just walked in and Google says open now, 3:49PM, but actually open at 5:00PM. And Google said it was open since 1:00PM…please fix.

Absolutely one of the worst dining experiences of my life, and not only because the food was bad (it was with the exception of the focaccia and turkey jook). I mentioned to the wait staff that we were not happy with the quality of the food and portions were comical for a restaurant that claims to serve “family style.”

Right after paying the check, I was approached by a young person while sitting at my table getting ready to leave who kept walking towards me without introducing themselves asking me how come I did not like the food in an abrupt manner while looming over me. Can’t help to think that this would have not happened if I was a man since their tone changed as soon as my partner (who is a male) asked them who they were - which led them to identify themselves as the owner of the restaurant. I understand the food being bad, service being less than mediocre but the owner’s behavior left a strange taste and honestly, I felt intimidated. Thankfully, I was not alone. Was leaving a cash tip on top of a $300 check for literally two slices of dry turkey and a bottle of wine, but the owner singlehandedly made us reconsider that decision.

Also please don’t add oysters to the menu if you don’t have a staff member who knows how to shuck oysters.

Meal was great but the unexplained 3% service charge in addition to tipping was a buzzkill

I stopped by to pass some time before heading to a concert. Since my neighborhood mostly runs on a first-come, first-served basis, I didn’t think to make a reservation—but it turns out we needed one. The only available table was outside, and it was on the chillier side, though they did provide blankets, which helped a bit. Still, eating hot food in the cold has its challenges.

We ordered a few dishes to share, as that seems to be their style, and the standout was clearly the sourdough bread. We ended up ordering it twice (a bit steep in terms of price, though)! The fish was pleasant and light, but for the price, it didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of portion size. We tried some vegetarian dishes, which were fine but nothing memorable. We skipped dessert, and honestly, it was nice, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit. For us, the value just wasn’t quite there. The server we had was great though.

This place has it going on. As a Manhattanites that usually never leaves the island, this place made me want to come to Brooklyn every weekend for brunch. I stop by here with my girlfriend who lives in Queens, and we were both so impressed with the food, the quality, the service, and location. it is easily accessible via public transportation, and close to Prospect Park. The neighborhood is vibrant and lovely. It is worth your visit no matter what borough you’re in. we shared the pork and eggs with green sauce(truly unique) and the muscles(tender and big). I had a wonderful Mezcal and she had a white wine. I can’t wait to go back!
