This restaurant has alot of charm and if I lived nearby I'd make it a regular go to. Is it worth coming from Manhattan for? Yes and no. The happy hour is great. $10 glasses of good wine. $14 martinis. A $7 happy hour charcuterie plate was also a nice nibble with the happy hour drinks . The arugula salad was delicious as was the eggplant parmesan. Very good tiramisu. But is it on the level of the finest Italians in nyc. Not quite. It's good and I would return. But it's...
I love this place! The staff is attentive, friendly and quick to take care of you. The pasta was delicious-fresh and creamy with crispy guancale - reminiscent of my time in Italy. I also ate breakfast here which was wonderful. The simple egg combo was the best. The potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, delicious thick cut fresh sourdough, and tasty bacon. I had the Greek yogurt another morning and that was also wonderful. The décor is fun and comfortable.
We popped in for dinner on a Sunday evening. Staff were friendly and attentive and offered advice on food and wine.\nWe had the Capaccio as a starter, followed by veal, pasta amatriciana and trofi al pesto.\nAll dishes were delicious, well presented and a generous portion.\nWould not hesitate to return.
