Great pie but now the fat lazy daughter doesn't want to put in the work to keep it open. And yes before she says I've been working here since. what shut up. Wait till the money is gone. Oh wait then the life insurance will kick in. God disgrace

Very sad to hear that this location is closing. Back in 1992, when I first moved to NYC, it was on a list of must-dos, based on growing up watching movies set in the Big Apple. In the years since, I made many return visits, though only sometimes fashioning the famous double-decker slice consumed by John Travolta in the opening sequence of Saturday Night Fever. The pizza itself was always pretty mediocre. There are better slices to be had within blocks. But it's about nostalgia & community. The NYC of old is slowly dying. I wish I could be there for the wake.

Farewell to the famous pizzeria, this was the last day for them after serving Brooklyn and beyond with love and pies. Today the line was around the block, and according to a neighbor, it's been like this for the last few days after they announced they were closing for good. Many devotees were taking live video, doing tiktocs, and posting selfies on Facebook of them leaving with their last slice. It was a strange bittersweet moment of reminiscence and a marker of time passing: People in line playing the song from the opening scene, reminiscing about old Brooklyn, looking at the vintage electric sign and photos of Travolta and Stallone, all this contrasting with passersby riding past on electric skateboards and a drone flying overhead taking footage of the line. Cars, trucks, and busses were honking and yelling out the window as they passed. It was a good turnout of old school New Yorkers and the typical Brooklyn love: everyone conversating like old friends, united in paying respects to an institution and a unique part of classic New York.

Thank you Frank for serving pizza to the community. Had a final taste of your pizza. Service was nice. It was great. Enjoy your retirement!

I have been coming here for 30 yrs with family. Now showed my husband. We order constantly, pick up often and eat in monday nights. Last wk i ordered grandpa pie and got a dry barely sauced thick crust pizza. The girl who i usually love refused to help. I even wear their merch i got from their website on my channels. Its bizarre they decided to not stand by their product. You have no idea what youre gona get when you order sometimes great sometimes a complete opposite order. Its sad but they went downhill. No more lennys for us

Was told this place is famous due to John Travolta filming and eating at this spot so decided to give it a chance since I was hosting an Eagles watch party (Go Birds! sorry Giants fans). Ordered two 16" pies (but the cheese looked like an 18" inch; I'm not complaining). The ultimate test was done on the cheese pizza. One bite everyone knows the rules...Wish the bottom of the crust was a bit crispier. The sauce was a good, wasn't too sweet or tangy. Good amount of cheese. Overall a decent pizza. Would order here again.

Solid pizza spot. I wanted to. Is it after watching Saturday night fever. I thought the meatball roll was could but could've used a little more sauce. The garlic knot was good & so was the pizza. This all cost $15. I thought it was decently priced

Terrible experience. One of the guys behind the counter laughed and mocked me when I asked about how I paid a different price for the same thing before. Food was cold and just didnt taste good at all.Gave me the wrong slices that I ordered for pick up. Garlic knots were like a sponge of oil. Felt nauseous after eating.
