BEWARE-. I’ve been a loyal customer (even had my whole wedding party come here) for YEARS. Recently I had a terrible experience, wherein my gel manicure barely lasted a week. I let them know and got no response (despite their promise). I now understand why all my friends in the area go elsewhere and why no one is ever there. Also their nail art is horrendous.

This place is INSANELY good. I get the ~regular~ polish and it lasts almost a ~month~ without chipping. I took this photo of a regular polish manicure a full 7 days after I got it done. No chipping, no lifting, no peeling. I don’t know how else to explain it other than witchcraft.
My sister comes up from DC to get her gel manicures here and they last ~months~. Plural. She only takes them off when she gets bored of the color - again, no chipping, no lifting, no peeling, I don’t understand this beautiful sorcery.
Might have to do with the fact that this place is waterless (more clean). Or maybe it’s the high level of skill and perfection of the techs or quality of the polish. My sis and I honestly don’t know, we just know that they’re GOOD.
Anyway, I love this place. Been coming here since around 2021. When I go, I like to treat myself with a lemonade or latte, too :)

I got a manicure here. The gel polish started to chip and peel off within a couple hours of leaving the salon, I actually didn't even make it home before the polish chipped. I felt that the staff (not the manicurist–she was lovely) was particularly unfriendly. For example, drinks were offered to other (white) women but not me (not white). Not the best experience, would definitely not go back.

I am so glad that I found Lili and Cata - through many, many happy reviews. After several disappointing experiences with other salons, I have had four visits with L&C and have been so happy each time - and have never had the same person twice, so that is quite a compliment to the staff! I am only sorry I missed the outdoor terrace space this summer, but I will be back.

I would highly highly think twice before booking here. I had previously been going here for about a year, but today will be the last day I book here. The door had somehow jammed at the Greenpoint location and I was left waiting for about 20 minutes as the owner arrived to unlock the door. When he arrived, he led me through the back door and wasn’t very apologetic. Completely wasted my time. And then, he proceeded to not offer any sort of discount or alternative for the 20 minutes I waited to start my appointment. Today was unfortunately the last day I will be booking here. With so many other great options in greenpoint, just save yourself the time and book somewhere else.

Came here for the Lush gel manicure with nail design and loved my experience. The space is beautiful and soothing, and it definitely feels elevated compared to a regular nail salon. You feel very taken care of by the staff, and being able to get a tea or drink is a nice touch.
The nail technician was very talented. I asked for a somewhat complicated nail design and she executed it perfectly.
Beautiful, relaxing space, smells heavenly. Love that the products are nontoxic. Kelsey was my nail tech and she was very kind, helpful and gave me a wonderful massage. The receptionist was also lovely and made a delicious London Fog latte. Highly recommend as a treat or for self care.

I walked in to be greeted by a lovely lady and quick service. Also I came in earlier than my appointment. Both nail stylists for both of my mani and pedi were kind, attentive and patient. I also asked for a charger which the lady in the front lend to me while I was doing my nails, thank you for that ?? all in all beautiful experience, will come back

Kind staff and nice concept with the cafe attached to the salon. I went in for a same day appointment for gel-x, which usually lasts a minimum of 3 weeks. Given the price point, I was disappointed that the nails ended up thicker than usual and started lifting at 2 weeks. For a regular or gel manicure, they seemed great but would not go back for gel-x.

First time here, great atmosphere and surprised to see the Cafe which had Chai latte and matcha unsweetened my fave. My appt was on time with Isabel, she was fabulous and best of all is the abundance of gel nail colors. Will be back for sure.
