These were the buns given to me today. Found 2 hairs but picture did not reflect. Quality in this location is poor. Must check before paying if decide to come here.

they definitely have the best portuguese egg tarts that i've tried, highly recommend !
I called them to reserve a cake two days ago, however, they claimed they did not receive my order. Also they are very impatient on the phone, I do not recommend making reservations on the phone with them, not sure if in person is better.

The Portuguese Egg tarts from here are my favorite! They’re warm, creamy and delicious. The cheese mango tea was also good.

This is how I like my egg tarts: fat, gooey, humongous, soft, full of custard, more custard-to-crust ratio. The best egg tarts are in Brooklyn! You can get these perfect Portuguese egg tarts from any of the Lily Bloom Bakery or Xin Fa Bakery locations (sister stores). The crust is flaky and thick, while the custard is creamy and rich. The inside is silky smooth and irresistible, while the top is slightly burnt for a caramelized flavor. They're melt-in-your-mouth when you bite into it. I really wish we had a location in Queens. Since the egg tarts are so popular, their turnover rate is really high. That's why they're always fresh and warm!

Go to spot for buns and desserts. Liked the red bean ice slushy.

Stopped by Sunday afternoon and the Sunday before that. The lady that bags the buns was very rude both times. I asked if there was any more of this certain bread and she said she had no clue what I was talking about but she was the one who helped me the week before when I asked her what the difference was between that bread and another. So she knows exactly what I was asking for. She doesn’t want people helping themselves to the buns but is also very rude when she is bagging it for people. She’s miserable and should not work in customer service.

The service is super bad here. There were multiple tongs hanging there and customers cannot get the bread themselves? I was there at around noon 2/2/24. This unpleasant staff was kind of cursed me for taking the tong and trying to get the bread myself. Please hire someone normal who knows how to serve customer and not yelling at customers. Probably not returning any time soon. Service really sucks. They are thinking this is the only bakery bay parkway.

Bought from them a couple of times and at their different locations too. None of them taste good. I gave some to my son and sister, and they all complained it taste bad and told me don't go back. I'm thinking maybe this time not good so tried again. Nope, not one time is good. They make it look nice, but they are so dry and stale tasting. They are more expensive than typical Chinese bakery. ( I got those triangle sponge cake with a thin layer of cream in the middle, supposed to be sweet. Theirs was salty.) Done giving them chances, won't go back for any bakery items.
