Meanest workers on earth. I kindly asked if there will be hot Portuguese tarts coming out soon as I planned to get a dozen. And there was only three left on the shelf. She goes if you don't want these , there's other people that wants it. Sheesh! So if you want cold over priced tarts, this will be it. There is a bakery near kingshighway by the N train that sells better and cheaper tarts with great service. Will not return this place.

Supposed to be 3.5 stars. 4 stars for the food but 2 stars for the way they manage their lines. They bottleneck their own lines by having all shelf orders handled by 1 person. Despite designing it much like other bakeries that look self-service. The workers will visibly be pissed if you try to service yourself despite having many trays + tongs for self service.

Suuuper packed place and very chaotic but the Portuguese egg tarts are so good especially when you first get them. The custard filling is light and the crust is soft and flaky, but holds the dessert in place.

Echoing other Yelpers, this bakery's Portuguese egg tarts are a must. The custard is thick but light, the crust is flaky yet holds together really well. Half a dozen would make a nice gift for any occasion. Will definitely come back!

I won’t give you a single star for service experience. The attitude is too bad. For consumers, it is to bring you profits. If you don’t have a good service attitude, forget it. I still owe you millions to show your face to your customers. Today my home The old man went in to order milk tea and asked about the style and taste. She said fiercely that it was just one kind. Are you sure it was just one kind? Pearl milk tea and pudding milk tea are not milk tea? The way you do business is unacceptable and makes people angry. I spend thousands of dollars a year with you in exchange for this kind of experience. Thinking about it, it’s really not worth it! !

Our friend brought us half dozen Portuguese eggs tarts all the way to Queens. She's so sweet to carried it over 1.5hrs train ride to Queens. She endured crowded train and bus ride and arrived beautifully in a non crushed state. We lightly warm in our toaster oven. Super yummy even for the next morning.

Best bakery in the area is now closed. Would always go there for the Portuguese egg tarts but now I have to go further away to the sister location. There is always a line out the door for servicing, that's how you know its good. They probably got flooded on 9/29 and couldn't recover.
They got some pretty good stuff. The Portuguese Egg Tart is their signature item there. Usually they will make it in bulks and if you buy half a dozen or more, you get a box with a QR code looking punch out. Once you collect enough, you get discounts on their item. It's the same for any of the slice cakes or whole cakes. You can obtain the punch out and hand them it when collected enough. Besides the egg tarts and the cakes, their other pastry are pretty good too. You can tell the quality is high when the bread looks very good. The drinks are also nice as well. Nothing to complain about there

Great baked goods, the usual that you are used to seeing, and new. Taiwan puff cake (I think it was) was excellent: fluffy and light with a crunchy crust. It's like a super light pound cake.

Enough said, as much as I love to visit them everyday casually.. today's mess they have made just unacceptable.Can just tell me the truth, no need to lied about my reserved order being given to another. Instead I was told they never received such order. When I'm literally looking at the receipt of the reserved order note.Just be warned about reserving orders. Otherwise, the products are great.
