We came here to have dinner on a recent Sunday night and were told by the server that they close at 8:00 pm. It was close to 7 when we came in. We ordered a few apps and a main course. Not sure how authentic Greek it is but we liked the food . Everything was very tasty and fresh. My one star rating is for service. We kept being told that they close soon another words eat fast and get out. This is our second time coming here and second time being rushed out. A little after 8:00 a woman, most likely the owner came over and rudely told us that we have to leave. We were still finishing our dinner and wine. The staff were still cleaning the kitchen. She took our plates away and in a very nasty way told us we must leave. I've never experienced such rudeness in a obviously small family restaurant. I realize you close early but to chase us out when we needed a few more minutes to finish our dinner is unacceptable. There are plenty of great restaurants in the neighborhood that we can patronize and feel welcomed.

Food - 3.5/5 It was pretty decent. The fries were a bit well done and the pork souvlaki was a tad dry. Chicken souvlaki was better than the pork. Service: 5/5 Excellent service. Felt pretty welcomed. Ambiance: 4.5/5 Very charming and tasteful if you will. Good place to actually sit down and have your meal.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. We were living in Bay Ridge when they opened and I'm not exaggerating when I say my husband and I ordered almost every week- they even knew our order. We've since moved but still go out of our way to place an order for pick up and the food is just as amazing and so is the staff- they still remember us! We always get the mousaka and pastichio.

Friendly neighborhood restaurant, comfortable atmosphere and good solid food at fair prices. All the food has been great, with the exception of the pork souvlaki, which was a little dry for our taste, probably a very lean cut of pork….This is our go-to when we want a Greek dinner!

What in actually F... This is not Greek food. Some of this isn't even food. This place needs to close, please look at my photos & videos. Proud Cypriot American here and I wouldn't serve what I received to an enemy. I ordered pork Gyro with French Fries, Pastitso and orange cake. First thing I noticed before opening the trays, the French fries were black. Burnt beyond recognition. Somehow they came soggy. How fries can be burnt & soggy at the same time is a new culinary disaster first for human kind. Went for the Pastitso next. This Pastitso is more like Greek inspired loaded noodles. Please see the video. This dish is just noodles thrown at the bottom and loaded with ground meat and a minuscule layer of bechamel topped with feta. The noodles are not stuck together. They are just thrown in. Please google Pastitso and find any photo that resembles anything like this monstrosity I received. Next up the pork gyro. Same burnt soggy fries in there. Pork was ok, very tough but edible. The tzatziki sauce is very terrible and unusually thick . I feel like it's something from the store maybe old? Not good at all, look at. So I call Little Athens, and literally ask if this food is prepared by Greeks or if this is some sort of Greek inspired restaurant. Guy said it's Greek, so I asked why are my fries black. This guy says "oh we use fresh fries not frozen like McDonald's". I explained to him I was Cypriot and make French fries plenty of times at home and they don't come out black. Then I asked about the Pastitso asked if they just threw noodles in the food container and topped it off with toppings. His reply was are we talking about the fries or Pastitso? Guy has got to be under the influence of something. He asked if I wanted a refund and initiated the offer. I declined. This isn't about money, I have plenty of that. Cooking is not for this establishment. They should not be cooking and certainly not call it Greek or food. .

Amazingly flavorful dishes, extremely fresh. Some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had. Try the yemista!

For my money, this is the best of the Souvlaki places in Bay Ridge (not sure I've tried 100% of them, to be fair, but I think I've tried most...). Food is consistently well cooked - nice grill flavor but still juicy - and servings are generous for a very reasonable price. Delivery has been fast and accurate each time I've ordered so far. My new fave.

Was there with my family. They saw an Asian crowd and decided not to seat us.“Restaurant policy” is what they claimed. In 2023, a Jew, 2 Greeks and 5 Asians were not seated due to policy.Could be because I am Jew in Palestinian rich Bay Ridge or they could just be racist against Asians. Either way, not seating people based on creed or culture is illegal and wrong.I hope everyone knows how racist this place is.

Great informal greek spot with all the casual eats. Their chicken gyro platter is always blessed with good portions !

I love everything about this place. The shrimp souvlaki platter is my favorite but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. My go to Greek restaurant.

Little Athens is a nice little space in Bay ridge. I was in the mood for a Souvlaki sandwich, and I found one. My sandwich was tasty, but hardly the best Souvlaki that I have ever tasted. My bill with a bottle of Poland Spring water was $12.00. A fair price.

First time ordering from Little Athens because i was craving Keftedakia(greek meatballs), which didn’t disappoint especially paired with the tzatziki sauce. The lemon potatoes, sadly not my favorite, but the greek fries, will absolutely order again.

Today my friends introduced to the real gem in a middle of Bay Ridge! Little Athens is a home of true Greek cuisine where everything from appetizers to main course are filled with generous Greek soul! I had chicken yeero( which is by the way the right way to say it) it had delicious sauce, was full of meat, onion and tomatoes and FRESH FRENCH FRIES which gave it a perfect crunch and made it more filling!I am definitely coming back for more and not once! Will recommend to anyone who haven’t had greek food before or who wants to try the real deal!
