Loud and boisterous, no room to dine in. They think selling you a cup of foam is a cappuccino. Will not be returning. Cakes are nice.

Employees are EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. The deserts are tasty but not the absolute best.

Are y’all still making your old recipes? Have they changed or have we changed? Your strawberry shortcake cupcake was the best of the three (hostess and BK blackout were the other two) and that’s saying something. Is this box mix or is this homemade? Blackout and hostess were dry. The frosting old and artificial. I’m sad. I wish cupcakes were still a thing.

Been going here for years enjoying the vegan raspberry bar but they recently added a bunch of other vegan options such as vegan lemon cupcakes!! And they are so good!

I've reportedly tried to place an order here and been unable to. There's no designation for the line and relies entirely on the staffs attention to who's coming in first etc. At least 5 or 6 times I've entered the store to find more employees behind the counter than customers and still get skipped by the oblivious disinterested employees.

dessert was good, the employees were rude. I asked a question on pricing and received an attitude back. Out of the five workers only one of them was nice. the shop is nice just needs better

Walked in and 2 employees saw me come in, and proceeded to talk amongst each other. I literally had to ask if I needed to request assistance. What kind of service is this? I won't be back.

I recently ordered a few gluten free items from this cupcake shop (because I have celiac’s disease) and my husband ordered some cake (not gluten free). Unfortunately, the store staff decided to pack everything in the same box which meant that I was not able to eat any of the items I ordered. For those that aren’t aware, when you have celiac’s and are exposed to gluten, over time it can lead to intestinal cancer. While I never imagined that staff wouldn’t pack gluten free and non gluten free items together, this also resulted in my husband not being able to eat his cake. This happened because I ordered the gluten free cranberry bars that have almonds on them and my husband has a tree nut allergy. I spent over $50 for just a few baked goods. I should be able to expect for food allergies to be handled professionally, intentionally, and with the seriousness they deserve!I decided to call the restaurant to talk to the supervisor and I spoke with Alex(andra) I believe although she and the gentleman that answered the phone were very cryptic and hesitant to give me her name.I was very frustrated and attempted to explain to Alex that I was surprised they didn’t train their staff to pack gluten free items separately by default, to which she replied “Well, I don’t train anyone to do anything!” She then explained that could request a refund through the delivery service I used, which I explained I already had done. She then shared that they are very sensitive to food allergies, to which I responded that they clearly are not because the gravity of this mistakeIt was clear to me that Alex did not want to hear my frustrated tone. When I tried to explain Celiac’s because I want to make sure others don’t have to get sick because of poor staff training, she said “You clearly seem very upset, so I’m going to give you some time to simmer down and let you call back tomorrow and speak with the manager!” And then, she hung up.If you have a good allergy, I recommend you stay far away from this shop or you will likely get sick.Dietary restrictions: Stay away from this place if you have food allergies. Staff are not trained to manage them well.

Looked promising from the outside. The employees were kind. We got a box of 5 assorted cupcakes. Every single one was very dry. They were overly sweet (I’m not a fan of super sweet desserts). The red velvet cupcake was not edible. Myself, husband, and brother tried it and all of us had to stop at one small bite. It had a very gross taste, definitely seemed like something was left out of the recipe or an ingredient had gone bad. I rarely write reviews, but I LOVE cupcakes and NYC has so many other incredible options, don’t waste your time or money coming here….My brother got two of the mini cheesecakes and they were much better than the cupcakes.

Couldn’t be more disappointed in this bakery. The cupcake was half melted and tiny compared to the others. When asking for recs the workers barely had any patience to advise me since it was my first time. The cupcake also lacked flavor and was sad looking. I also asked for a box to go and was advised that they don’t do that and I must purchase another cupcake. I even offered to pay for the box but got a kick back. Very bizarre.

I have been in the neighborhood for the past 5 years and never had I experienced such an impatient service at this place today with the lady that has a short hair and a cap.She asked if I was ready and I said yes. She started tapping her fingers when I was ordering several cakes and a chai latte. Her tone sounded as if she was in a rush when there wasn’t any customer behind me.What a DISAPPOINTMENT.Definitely recommend professional customer service staff training at this location.

I’ve gone to this bakery several times over the past 3 years I’ve lived in the area for their Raspberry Coconut bar. The taste is great, and the size of bar was plentiful. In my most recent visit, they not only raised the prices, but the size of the bar decreased drastically. It’s not THAT good to be charging $6 for three bites of a vegan cookie bar. It felt like a rip off. I’m not naive to a business trying to maximize profit margins, but choose one or the other: raise the price and keep the old portion size OR keep the old price and decrease the portion size. A bit disappointed. Hoping someone reads this and reconsiders the overall business tactics of the establishment.
