We had high expectations of this restaurant, but we were a bit disappointed. First of all, we arrived for brunch at 11:00am, and they were already out of several items. The menu was missing a space between lines, causing us to misunderstand some of the drink options. The pastries on display in the case were all stuck on one plate, with no labels to tell us what they are (a stark difference from the photos on Google). We were expecting the roasted carrot sandwich with date syrup to be warm and caramelized, but it was cold.

On the plus side, the service was fine, the waitress was attentive and the food came in a reasonable time. The open kitchen appeared clean, with several people working in it. The bathroom was clean and operational.

Overall, not quite sure why this place is so highly rated. Maybe they were having an “off day”?

Just a perfect local cafe. Beautiful, tasty food, good coffee, plenty of space, multiple vibes under one roof (all quiet, but not fussy; there's a back garden, some small tables and a coffee bar in front, and high tops in the back); clean restroom; and a pretty effortless flow between quiet and busy, which you can work right through without being disturbed. :)

Food and drink are a TAD pricey, but I'm from Flatbush and this is Park Slope, sooooooo ?

Definitely check it out!

Kid-friendliness: My kid loves it - ESPECIALLY the pizza and the chocolate gelato, which is unbelievably rich without being heavy! (She did see a bee in the back garden and she didn't love that - but, y'know, that's the risk of being outside.) ?

They have some good food but it is ridiculously over priced. I had ordered a double scoop of gelato, and it was two tiny scoops, like a kids size portion and $8. It wasn't even that good. So pretentious and overpriced. I also had a chocolate almond croissant which was very good tbh but also $8. The value is not worth it.

Before the pandemic our kids used to go to culinary school in this place. While I was sad to see Dynamite shop go I'm so happy that little honey is what replaced it. It's the perfect place for a nice easy work from home day lunch. I can't say enough good stuff about their homemade bread that they use for their sandwiches. It is simply amazing! The broccoli and mozzarella sandwich is my go-to every week when I work from home

This place is our go to brunch spot. Beautiful back yard, and SUPER high quality food. Their egg sandwich with bacon is to die for. The scrambled eggs have homemade chili crisp which is stupid good. Great coffee too!

best new pizza in the city, the dough is incredible, airy yet satisfyingly chewy, rich wheaty flavor but not heavy. basically magic! There was a peach and bacon special pie that will stay in my thoughts for a long time, that combo of peach, tomato, and bacon is sweet-acidic-savory genius. The back patio is sooo cute, and Ruby is the sweetest server ? don't miss the veggie starters which seem to change frequently - romanesco, roasted carrots, beets - have never had a bad plate here.

A little loud and smoky inside, but not and cool & clean! If you want pizza there get a whole 12 inch and not a slice. A pie is between $22-24 while 2 slices were $18.50. The pizza was what I believe was a ciabatta grandma style bread, which seemed different from their pies. The texture and bread flavor was delicious, but a little small for the price in my opinion. No changing table in bathroom, but plenty of room in the backyard, inside or out front for a stroller.

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian sandwiches, cheese & egg or cheese & broccoli plus the classic vegetarian pizzas, mushroom or cheese or broccoli.

Disappointed, major coffee setup by the window was enticing. But they couldn't do a drip coffee over ice, insisted that all they sell is cold brew. Ended up with a hot drip instead.
