Dad and I had lox and eggs and onions omelette. Perfectly made with lots of lox. Generous portions. Super attentive friendly waitstaff. A true neighborhood gem!

I appreciate talent and I believe you can find talent in anything. The art of "bread-tending" is observed to the highest level here. It may just be a piece of toast you use to dip in your egg yolk or eat with a little dollop of the best jam east of the Hudson river. BUT, that toast is more than that. There is a set of well trained hands that prepare that toast for you. Someone that has prepared toast thousands of times and everything from the sound of her slicing the toast is perfect. The execution is impeccable and if I can get this excited about their toast, just imagine how well everything else will taste. The talent at this place is appreciated and recognized, keep it up guys! Great work!

Our family has been going to Little Purity since my son was 2 (He’s 12 now). We love it here! Everyone js always friendly - they know everyone - and the food is homemade and fresh, classic diner experience but better.

Unfortunately, ownership and staff did not understand an expressed dislike that was 100% misunderstood. Others with no context compounded this, leading to a poorly informed decision.

That is 100% on the ownership, yet it demonstrates a lack of critical thinking and emotional intelligence.

I won't dignify or repeat the shared ignorant words I was accused of using, as I know I did not. The person lacked genuine comprehension of a clearly expressed disdain for the other customer's behaviors.

Everyone should know that this environment is managed, staffed, and frequented by people lacking a comprehensive and dynamic mindset.

PS—Nick, your arbitrary decision is 100% in you, yet your limitations, lack of education, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence became most apparent.

The owners are lovely people, and made every customer feel welcome. Service was excellent. I never expected all of us to be served at the same time which I always appreciate. We will all definitely return.

The biggest compliment I can pay to this place is when you’re there you don’t feel like you’re in NYC. Feels small town diner in the best way possible.
