I absolutely loved the place. The ambiance was great and the service was exceptional. It’s nice to eat and then walk into the park after that sumptuous meal. Thank you so much 😊

Came in on a Tuesday morning and was treated to a delicious breakfast. The eggs benedict were fantastic and the challah french toast was outstanding. What really made Little Purity stand out was the stupendous family staff - warm, friendly, kind, and funny too! Had very enjoyable conversation with our servers, and you can tell that they put care into all of their interactions. My partner left her hat inside, and he ran out after us to return it! During that time someone on the street called out to him and our server knew him by name - this further goes to show that these people truly care about their customers and their neighborhood. Loved supporting these folks, highly recommend!

Simply put...I'd never willingly return. Came here for brunch with a group on a Sunday at approx 1130am. Understandably I fully expected the almost 1hr wait time. Its everything else inside that makes me not want to return. Our table required 2 extra seats to accommodate the group and 1 of us was in the way of foot traffic through the restaurant. We ordered the putcher of mimosa, and that was the first disappointment. Now I've had mimosas from a multitude of venues with different flavors. This was by far the worst, I'd be willing to say 95% orange juice at least. The food was nothing special, tasted very mediocre. Overall, if you like a cramped location and average drinks/food then this is your place.

Our favorite local diner! We always love the environment and how kind everyone is. Today we grabbed breakfast to kickstart my fiancee’s birthday off.

It’s the vibes. Everyone loves this place and it’s because the people who work here are just the best. Also: the French toast!

Absolutely unacceptable experience — discriminatory, illegal, and rude.

My pregnant wife and I visited Little Purity in Brooklyn with our fully trained and federally recognized service dog. Upon arrival, the manager refused us entry, claiming that dogs are not allowed — even after we explained that our dog is a service animal protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

We are both attorneys and are well-versed in the law. The manager began incorrectly citing legal code and rudely dismissed our explanation. His tone was aggressive and demeaning, and as we were walking away, he sarcastically yelled “Have a good day!” — a final insult after denying us access in violation of federal civil rights law.

Let’s be clear: this was not just rude customer service — this was illegal discrimination. Under the ADA, service animals are allowed in all public accommodations, including restaurants, without exception.

To make matters worse, the manager showed zero empathy or professionalism — not even the decency to engage in a civil conversation. The experience was humiliating, dehumanizing, and frankly outrageous.

If you care about inclusion, basic decency, and the law, I recommend you take your business elsewhere. Little Purity has shown itself to be not only uninformed, but also hostile and unwelcoming.

10/10 diner experience. The food is fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is top tier, and the service is literally everything I want in a diner. The owner Nick was so great, it seemed like he knew everyone who was there, but I quickly learned although there are clearly many regulars, Nick makes an effort to make sure everyone feels at home. Could not recommend more, if there’s a wait, it’s worth it.

Unfriendly!!!
Half-empty they did not give us a booth for a party of 2.
Don't appreciate the manager’s sarcasm.

I appreciate talent and I believe you can find talent in anything. The art of "bread-tending" is observed to the highest level here. It may just be a piece of toast you use to dip in your egg yolk or eat with a little dollop of the best jam east of the Hudson river. BUT, that toast is more than that. There is a set of well trained hands that prepare that toast for you. Someone that has prepared toast thousands of times and everything from the sound of her slicing the toast is perfect. The execution is impeccable and if I can get this excited about their toast, just imagine how well everything else will taste. The talent at this place is appreciated and recognized, keep it up guys! Great work!
