Susan and her husband are such warm and welcoming people. They’re originally from Long Island and Park Slope and have lived around the area their entire lives. Our dog loved their treats and we ordered an affogato with their homemade cookie crumble ice cream, babka, and cinnamon buns. The buns and frosting are so balanced and flavorful, not overwhelmingly sweet! The espresso is some of the best I’ve ever had, definitely come support and check them out!

Glad we found this hidden gem in our neighborhood. The cinnamon roll is absolutely delicious. Frosting on the top gives that balanced sweetness. Also the apple babka is a perfect combo for the fall season.

It was my birthday weekend and we walked in around 2 pm. I had heard that you need to show up early to secure their cinnamon buns so I was hoping for a birthday miracle. I was beyond elated to find they still had 2 left and I must say it was absolutely ahh-mazing! My wife is gluten free so she was jealous but luckily they had plenty of gf options for her. The owner was very sweet and I want to thank her for adding the cherry on top of a great birthday weekend. We will be visiting every chance we get.

I have lived in the area for 15 years and have always wanted a quality local bakery for sweet treats. I should have been careful what I wished for because Little Red Kitchen is dangerous, in all the best ways.
Hands down the best cinnamon rolls in the area (if you can get them) and their cinnamon babka is incredible. My wife loves the GF almond cake as well. Just tried the ice cream last week too and of course that is solid too.

Have really enjoyed the brookies and regular cookies we’ve had from here in the past, they are heavy duty, salty sweet, intensely satisfying. But I just bought some ice cream they made in house, took 3 pints home and ate it with wife and kids, and it was amazing. The dark chocolate and the stracciatella are both really perfect, very refined: great texture, not too sweet. Dark chocolate was too dark for the kids, it seemed. These were both among the best ice cream I have had in a long time. The bourbon with blondie chunks is also very good, but in a different way, like a heavy option from Ben and Jerry’s: bourbon flavor is well balanced, the blondies are really satisfying though i found them a bit overwhelming (too chewy/dense). Kids liked this one. We really enjoyed them all and will definitely purchase again in future. Also appreciate how the containers feel like a real full pint (more generous than store bought ones). There was one other flavor which we did not try.

Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop is a treasure to the neighborhood! Be sure to try their famous cinnamon rolls, they’re voted number one in NYC for a reason!! The owner is incredibly kind and takes pride in her baking. Loved every single thing I’ve tried on the menu. You can prepay and reserve as many cinnamon rolls on the weekend for pick up as you like! Makes for a convenient treat that you can look forward to. A must try bakery for anyone who loves a perfectly baked treat!

Plus delicious classics like Blondies, millionaire bars, chocolate chip cookies, etc.. Plus, there are savory goodies, lots of gluten-free options and and an array of hot and cold beverages to wash them down!
