Pretty good and fresh TexMex cuisine, downside is you can only pay cash

It's ok. Not good, not terrible.
Everything is bland. Pulled pork taco is more like boiled pork saturated with water.
Beans we bland. Rice was bland
Service was ok. Nobody checked if we liked food.
Only takes cash or payment apps. Probably to avoid taxes, but charges tax.
When I got home I received diarrhea and an upset stomach. Although it was bland, something wasn't right.
For food comparable to a school cafeteria, the price is very high.

The food was fresh, but it didn't wow me, and it's not inexpensive. Service was quick, and the waiters were very friendly. The backyard patio is nice, and the interior has a nice "tex-mex vibe" that's atypical in NYC.

As a former Texan, this place feels like home.
Man, what a disappointment. Had walked by a million times and wanted to try it, finally got dinner, and it was so blah. These are not fajitas!
Super nice service and great food!
We came in for dinner and ordered a bunch of dishes to get to taste as much as possible.
Dishes that stood out:
The surprise of the night was the Cactus Salad -very light and the cactus gives it a nice kick .
Mole chicken enchiladas were delicious and the mole had nice heat to it.
We got one of the specials- Jalapeno cheesy steak enchiladas, the sauce was heaven on a plate , spicy and creamy. The steak was a bit tough for my taste but the seasoning was ON POINT.
For dessert we got churros with chocolate ice cream and tress leches filling, a great way to finish the meal.
Washed it all down with virgin and regular Margaritas ???

This review might be just for Texans who miss Tex Mex food, but I feel it fits across the board. My order of “the wolf” was beyond terrible. Weirdly watery with no flavor. The taco (how do yo mess up a taco ?!?!?!) was a disaster. I gave “service” and “atmosphere” 4 stars because I got my order to go. I also got a side of chips with th salsa. Chips were what you want in a crunchy well salted chip, but the salsa is a thick tomato soup flavored slightly to resemble something store bought. Maybe I’m the wrong Texan to try this on or it was just a bad day, but if you are looking for Tex-Mex, run from this joint

My shrimp salad was crisp and dressed with care! Love love and will try other dishes
One of our favorite places! Food is always good, everyone who works here is super friendly, the backyard is lovely, and their margaritas are the best in NYC. Their mole sauce is also top notch!
