Ordered a chicken over rice based off other reviews, and it really hit the spot! I'm so impressed by their white sauce, which has the perfect tanginess that I've been looking for! I requested extra hot sauce and they generously gave me a container on the side with enough hot sauce to add to my liking. Rice and chicken were flavorful, and the salad was refreshing.

This place is the 24 hour deli right under the 18-ave train station. It's a standard looking deli with regular customers of all shapes, colors, and sizes. I've seen a char siu butcher waltz in and order a sandwich and a pack of cigarettes seemingly telepathically. There's even a little adorable cat that sleeps on the counter here and then. Above all, the food goes unexpectedly hard. I usually order a chopped cheese on a roll with fries that comes with a drink. Can't go wrong with that and the price isn't bad at all either (though they did increase their prices recently). The wings are usually bomb too. Crispy with a lot of flavor and color. I've gotten their lamb over rice too which was pretty good, but you're better off buying that from a halal cart. The cooks and the dude working behind the counter are usually really nice. They'll ask if you want everything on your sandwich and they'll give you ketchup. I was also reminded that I could get a free soda too, which was pretty cool since the guy didn't have to do that. The reason this place isn't getting 5 stars from me is because one of the guys working from the counter tried to slide his phone number to me and motioned me to call him sometime. He looked well over 50 and I could pass for a freshman in highschool. The lad really gave me the creeps and I get paranoid now and then walking by there. But alas, time has passed. Now I just go here whenever I can visibly check the dude isn't manning the counter because their chopped cheese and wings are insanely good.

Corner bodega that never closes and is located right next to the 18th Ave subway station. They are a blessing for me since I often get the late night munchies and most places are closed in the area. Their kitchen offers sandwiches and halal food. Got the chicken and lamb combo over rice and it hit the spot.
